I was informed there is a hammer, but I am slightly skeptical of this, so I will keep the topic open until I have confirmation.

I would also like to remind players that unless I receive an explicit request for a replacement from the slot in question (e.g. karnos could request replacement, but XnadrojX would be unable to request that karnos be replaced), a slot will not be replaced;
Alternatively, unless a slot fails to pick up a prod (and I cannot prod a slot unless the day has lasted longer than 72 hours), I cannot replace a slot for inactivity, either.

Additionally, my ruling on replacements during the night is the following: if I have an outgoing prod, they can't reply in-thread (as it'd be locked), but can respond to my PM. If they respond to the prod, night's deadline continues as per normal.
If they fail to do so within the allotted time period of 48 hours from the issue, then I will seek a replacement. A night will not end when a slot is being replaced. When a replacement has been found, the night's deadline will be set for the appropriate time (3 nights, or 4 if the deadline would hit on a weekend), as to give the replacement time to read and if applicable, submit night actions.

I say "as quickly as I can", because right now, I'm dealing with a kitten--she was just spayed two days ago, and is wearing the cone of shame. However, I strongly suspect that the cone, probably the thread used to tie it, is acting as an irritant, agitating an already-agitated kitty. She keeps wanting to scratch it, and I'm trying to alleviate her suffering. Given her current face, I might've succeeded, but it's a continuous effort.

A possible interpretation of this is "I am quitting mafia after this game", and unless Garmr makes it explicit to me that he means "I am quitting right now", I will not be seeking a replacement for his slot. We should stick to our gut read. The LQ lynch was one of the worst I've ever seen. Seriously. How did you lynch someone so quickly before giving them a chance to defend themselves? I do think, however, the Alisae lynch was still justified.
