YARR!

At page 7, I am not a fan of Thesp's vehemence here. Also, it's ceteris paribus, not parabis, Thesp.

Vote: erg0

Okay, I've read the game. Want erg0 and Skruffs dead, don't trust Thesp.

Thesp should daykill erg0. YARR!

Stoofs
, does rule 17 apply to possible daykills?

'Cause I don't think that's a logical assumption, Skruffs.

And I really want to test Thesp's ability, because I don't trust him one bit. It also seems unlikely to me that Thesp would be Guardian's buddy.
Skruffs wrote:I am wary of asking thesp to use his attack on erg0, I am getting the impression that the people who are blarghing for erg0 vigging don't care wether thesp or erg0 is town or not. What I mean is, there's not forethought here, there is just people calling for blood.
I strongly believe erg0 is scum and I trust Thesp as far as I can throw a slab of marble. I don't believe your characterisation is accurate and I want you to point out who is guilty of this attitude. Because I'm not seeing it.

I think there's a very real chance that you're lying about having a daykill, Thesp. Your roleclaim is otherwise weak and it's not actually beneficial for the town to use that ability if it didn't confim you had it. Frankly, if erg0 wasn't obv scum, there's a good argument for not risking it.
Skruffs wrote:Erg0's scum buddy(ies) are probably hoping he can't day vig, which is probablay the basis of the 'pressuring' on him.

We haven't seen any vampire scum kills though, so, as I'm seeing it, either it's a cult, it's all misdirection by Stoofsy or maybe a non-evil vampire role. Cult still seems overpowered. Third option seems most likely to me.

I personally think Buffy makes even less sense as vanilla now. Vampire Protector would be much more natural a role.

So yeah, nothing much has changed in my view.

Gorrad, we basically got to that point, but Thesp didn't want to vig Erg0, which is why we're switching to Thesp.

We get Thesp to L-2 and tell him to vig Erg0. Basically the same idea, but this way, if he can't vig, we can lynch him straight away.

Iammars had no reason to claim at this time. There was no reason to tie a possible fake claim to Erg0, especially considering Erg0's inevitable demise.

Iammars claim makes him more likely to be town at this point in the game, definitely. Anyone who says otherwise, should be shot.

I think it's pretty clear now that the vampire finder and communist finder were just red herrings.

I'm not really seeing an advantage to mass claim.

Why do you have it in for me, Thesp?

I mean, I gave the town mike's alignment yesterday. That's more than Kison or UA has done.

Looking over the entirety of Mgm's posting, I don't agree with your theory, Thesp. Mgm never votes for or mentions Jordan. More than anything, I think it's just his knowledge speaking. He's looking for ninjas, so he's more likely to think he sees one.

Thesp wrote:CES, what do you think of other things and people? Have some guesses for us?
Well, my current point of view is:

Obv town:
CES

Cleared by role:
ooba
Thesp

Tends towards town:
cicero
The Fonz (his play here is markedly different from Smalltown)

Which leaves:
Primate
Lawrencelot
Kison
Ultima Avalon
as scum, but I'm having real troubles differentiating between these four.

Do you doubt that I think pirates are awesome?

More importantly:
Mr Stoofer wrote:# Xtoxm (replaced Sir Tornado) - Bruce Lee (Ninja Protector) - Lightsabered Night 2
...
# Thok - Gandalf (Goblin Protector) - arm cleanly sliced off and skulled bashed in Night 3

Oh snap. I totally didn't mean to suggest I was the pirate protector. I was just showing, that if I were scum, I could kill with impunity.

Fonz, the point is that if I had been aware of mike's role as lie detector, I would've had nothing to fear as I could just kill him at night. At that point I would surely comply with his request, no?

More information is not always a good thing, cicero.

We aren't going to win this game without a scum crosskill. If the mass claim gives us any insight into alignment, then that'll probably lead to scum killing the wrong people.

Actually, The Fonz, the best bet is to try and lynch a Goblin. They still have nk immunity from Ninjas, so that would still leave Ninjas 2 nks away from victory.

A mass claim is bad. Pirate Protector is still going to draw a nightkill, as he is unlynchable.

It's not that Peter Pan doesn't do that, it's just that he's an extremely annoying brat who is only liked by little kiddies. And I should note that Stoofer is not a little kiddie. Peter Pan doesn't in any way begin to compare to, say, Luke Skywalker.

If you could pick any fictional character, why would you ever pick Peter Pan?
