Before the mayor's advisor left, you see he left you a small bulliten board and some sheets of paper. You decide to begin tallying the votes cast on it:

Vote Count:

themanhimself (6) - the silent speaker, Machiavellian-Mafia, Twomz, draygn_mage, ChannelDelibird, Nixame
Twomz (3) - Yosarian2, Shamrock, armlx
Machiavellian-Mafia (1) - themanhimself
the silent speaker (1) - thedocsalive
Yosarian2 (1) - Viper0933

12 votes to Lynch.
Pink Princess is not a lynch candidate.

I just want to smurf what would happen if I
Unvote; Vote: Pink Princess
. I smurf that it probably just won't be added to the bulletin board; hopefully, I'm not mod-smurfed or something! :P

Fritz seems to have the most smurfy restriction
ever
... I wouldn't be surprised if he's been restraining himself from smurfing just to save us from the pain of having to read it.

I felt compelled to see what would happen if I smurfed for Pink Princess; it wasn't out of the realm of possibility that scum could have had the power to make it seem like she's unsmurfable today.

I suppose I must claim, despite my objections. Ladies and Gentlemen of the jury I am the copycat. In the beginning of the game I choose one person, I copy their restriction, and am put into a mason group with them. I did not post in legalese my first post, because I was waiting to find out my mason brother's restriction.

themanhimself's first post was post 31, which was well into the day. Wouldn't the mod have told him his mason brother's identity at night? What reason would there be to delay that information?

He may have just said he was scum, and most of us wouldn't have a clue.
BTW It seems unlikely that the mod would make him speak another language.
I am highly skeptical that the mod would hold off telling him his mason partner's name. Thus, I smell scum.

I honestly cannot tell you why the mod didn't inform the prosecution of the status of my partner, maybe he was slow, or maybe it was some kind of power? I honestly have no idea, perhaps we should ask him.

If your partner was informed of the masonry and responds w/ a yeah, then i'll believe it... if not then i'm almost certain

Hurrah! We got our chocolate fountain out and tomorrow it's going to be all chocolaty and good. Hurrah for graduating :D.

...you're lying. (and there's still a possibility that your both lying, but i'm not going to get into that.)

So now... we wait.

I find it interesting that themanhimself's supposed mason buddy is voting for him. Theman picked up his restriction in Post 44. Then, in Post 90, D-M voted for him, asking why he suddenly acquired a similar courtroom restriction. So theman found out his restriction and mason partner way back in Post 44, but D_M isn't told of his mason buddy at this time? That seems pretty shady. Add ID's post 111 to that, and it's a pretty solid case. Enough to me to vote for him.
Vote:themanhimself

Nix - do you have to follow CD's voting patterns? If the answer is yes, why is Nightfall, the third duck, not a part of the vote train? If the answer is no, simply disregard the question.

Unvote: themanhimself
, not because I buy the claim but because I don't, and I want to be the lynching vote. Ruthless logic dictates that
I copy their restriction, and am put into a mason group with them. I did not post in legalese my first post, because I was waiting to find out my mason brother's restriction.
is impossible; he chooses a mason brother by copying their restriction, so how can he be waiting for his mason brother's restriction to be revealed? He doesn't have a brother until he knows!

I repeat, I have unvoted for one reason and only one:
I want to be the hammer
. My rough count suggests there is one vote needed before I put my vote back on;
Mod: vote count please?
And to all the rest of you, if you see a vote after this post, I beg of you not to vote, so that I can do this.
I think it's pretty clear that TSS's awesomeness did alter the roles each of us recieved, and thus he's obviously pro-town. -- Save The Dragons

Unless your restriction is you can only vote to lynch (which has already been proved wrong), I don't see how you need the hammer vote.

So if you're telling the truth, what would have happened if you had chosen scum to copycat at the beginning of the game? Would that person still have become your mason buddy? It's not really adding up here...

I'm reluctant to vote for tmh right at this moment, because I want to know why t s s wants to hammer. I'm worried that t s s could be getting us to trigger a power he might have without us realizing it.

Stikey! I was going to quote the first part of your post and say it was a really good thought, but I kept reading and found the whole post is chock full of really good points. So I won't quote the whole thing. But you definately deserve a :goodposting:
I am also interested to hear why the silent speaker wants to hammer so badly. I think it is wise to hold off on the next vote until we have an explanation.
I'm pretty convinced theman is scum. Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever heard of a mason group where one partner is not aware of his mason buddy (which I'm assumnig D_M isn't)?

TheMan, if we let you live, could you PM your parnter tonight?
Could you confirm your role, your claim, before the morning light?
Would you find out the alighnment of the lawyer your partner?
Would he find out yours, get info, make the town smarter?
