This felt weirdly self-conscious from town and I don’t remember that from you in ruby. I also didn’t like how 36 and 43 weren’t relevant to what was an interesting discussion and could have been intentionally trying to distract or move focus away.

I could also see town being self-conscious in fear of people scumreading them for priming an excuse to hammer. I've qualified answers as town before.

"There is no way X is scum." Implies a strong town-read on X as there is "No-Way" (No conceivable manner) in which X can be scum. Logically from that perspective X must be town.

"X has not done anything to stand out." Directly states a lack of read on X.
