To Tierece
1. I just get told I received nothing from my use of mimic, nothing about whether "peregrinve actually has an active ability" or I got roleblocked. I wanted him to claim because If was scum and fakeclaimed some sort of targeting role, I would know he was lying and could lynch away. I didn't actually expect DCL to hammer like an idiot there..
2. I needed to pick someone. I figured I may as well test you, and see if you were had a role. Could not care if you did or did not hint strongly at being vanilla day one.-

I thought you had a town read on me at that point. And if you did, I was trying to explain why exactly your mimic failed.
Erm, lets get to lynching. If DCL is telling the truth, I don't think its possible he can make someone switch threads and also kill in here. I'll mimic him tonight anyways. So implosion and Vi remain

Offhand I'd just as soon fake-hammer implosion, but honestly there are decent reasons to not lynch anyone here. I'll go overthink it for a night and thenfake-hammer implosionmake a decision.Everything you say and do matters. People will respond in ways you may never see. May those responses be what you intend.-

Isn't this still making a lot of assumptions?In post 1004, Magister Ludi wrote:I thought you had a town read on me at that point. And if you did, I was trying to explain why exactly your mimic failed.

Hello, I'm alive and I approve of vi voting for implosion. There is one thing we should clear up first.
The problem right is the difference in players between the two threads. Assuming that LS flips scum, that would most likely mean we have one aia mafia left. We then need to lynch an aian in each thread the next day. I think that 2 players from vasta should portal over to aia and I will bring another vastonian here.
MoS, Tierce, and Quadz should not portal.This will mean that at the start of the night there will be 3 aia in each thread, and at worst tomorrow it will be 3-2.
Also, just for the record, I'm now in the U.S. eastern time zone.Sarcasm isnota scumtell.-

I don't think that's actually a great plan. We (appear to) know that there are only four people eligible to have made the Aia kill last Night.
I mean, sure and whatever about all the reds starting in one thread - you would basically have to be bluescum in order for you to have a motive for proposing this offhand - but I think there's room for just a bit more finesse than literally killing every person in Aia.Everything you say and do matters. People will respond in ways you may never see. May those responses be what you intend.-

A la Vasta
Basically, you're saying that it's possible that four scum started in Vasta. Or that one of {Tierce, MoSin, quadz} is scum. The latter is somewhat more likely than the former (if you take Tierce and quadz out) if either of those are true at all.In post 1200, Tierce wrote:Aia:
There are a lot of assumptions being made:
1) That the scum started divided by colors;
2) That the scum can only kill in their own thread;
3) possibly more but I'm bad at Englishing today.
I'm just paranoid at this Slaughter All Those In Aia plan. I guess we'll have some answers once we know Lastsurvivor's flip, but (etc.).
Anyone other than M.Ludi who wants to answer my question about what exactly a Mimic does would be helpful.Everything you say and do matters. People will respond in ways you may never see. May those responses be what you intend.-

You seemed genuinely pissed at getting moved. But that could come from scum or town. so its null.Sarcasm isnota scumtell.-

I approve of that vote. That's the hammer right? Can't wait for the flip. I've already said what my plans are for tonight I think
In post 1213, Amrun wrote:What reaction were you looking to find - town vs scum, DCL?
If tierce was scum some kind of slip about night mechanics for the scumteam might have been nice. Otherwise not much, that wasn't the primary reason for moving him, more of an extra effect.Sarcasm isnota scumtell.-

Aia knew what must be done. Implosion must face his end. As he was led to his fate, he broke free, put his arm into his jacket, and pulled out a gun, firing wildly and narrowly missing the villagers. That is when the villagers knew they were successful, and they closed in around him. He continued to yell as his life left him. "No, no, we must stop them. They are taking over, and we must cleanse ourselves!"
implosion, Mafia Godfather, lynched Day 4
Shapes and colors swirled, faces and shadows moving between two worlds, one of which now faded out. Vasta soon became no more, as its inhabitants slowly grew clearer in Aia. They looked around, smiled, and a cheer went up throughout the village. Perhaps, this time, they could rebuild and thrive.
The village of Aia and the friendly mimics of Vasta have won the game.
This thread will be the postgame discussion thread, unless someone really wants me to open Vasta.
Detailed postgame thoughts, role PMs, and night actions will be up at some point tomorrow.
A couple quick things right now:
1) There are definitely a few things I'd do differently if I were to run this again
2) I was not happy with my modding performance in this game. I got super busy with a new job and didn't have as much time to check in on MS as I wanted, and Yaw is also super busy halfway across the world, so I always felt behind, so my apologies for that. This was not normal for me.
3) I wanted more portaling-
