I really didn't know how to play as a survivor, so I'm not surprised that I lost. I'm glad though that my reads on scooby and wind-up were right.

Also, thanks for modding, khan. It was a really interesting game.

Lol people always say "survivor needs to lurk and hope not to get nightkilled". As survivor, I try to find scum, buddy with them, and give a few obvious claims that I'm the survivor. That way, the scum keeps me around because I'm a free vote wherever they want it and the town can't kill me because the scum/alive ratio goes more towards scum.

Well, I knew that I couldn't lurk so much because it would differ too much with my meta. At first I tried to play like I would normally as town as I somewhat regularly survived those games. About halfway through, I realized that it probably would not work especially with all the killing roles in the game and my role not allowing me to be protected, not that MrObvious would protect me anyway. So, late day 1 and day 2, I focused more on lurkers rather than who I thought was scum and lurked slightly more myself. Clearly though it did not work.

In my opinion the best way to play survivor is to act as honest and townie as possible, but be hopelessly wrong about all your reads. This might be hard if that doesn't come as naturally to you as it does to me

Naw. An honest and townie survivor is a target for scum. A scummy survivor is a target for lynch and/or vigs.

It's an okay role for a mini, but I've played a survivor in a large theme and it was just a grind.

Either I stop playing and completely get rid of the temptation, or I let myself play only one game and then get caught up in more as they catch my interest. I haven't been able to properly judge how much I can take at one time yet, sadly.
