Yep, a doctor and a cop for one mafia. Seems pretty flawless to me.

No guarantee that the night kill choice would be the doc...and according to that scenario the real cop isn't even revealed either. So in that case, 2 town for 1 mafia isn't actually a bad result. But there are MUCH worse scenarios that the mafia could use under the circumstances, which I won't outline here just in case we do end up using something similar towards the endgame (wouldn't want to give them any good ideas after all...).

Who is this Lotus Cosecant person, and why are you bandwagoning him?

Also,
vote Dragon Phoenix
. We have information now, so random wagonry is the height of folly. Also, if you're doing what I think you're doing, you're randomly bandwagoning the most vocal member of the town, which is a disgusting way to play.

I don't much like the game-breakery, especially since it looks like the SK gets to kill without answering correctly (breaking a capsule physically while life support was disabled doesn't sound like REGIS use to me). Also makes yestercycle's deliberate false answer a touch suspicous, and it does sound really dull. Not worthy of a vote, though -- such a propsal doesn't help the scum, though it might Doom Us All.

Any specific reason why you capped DUA Mneme? Is this a hidden cop claim (DUA means Directory User
agent
...) or am I being waaaay too investigative here? :)

If it was a hidden cop claim, I doubt that Mneme would reveal that...not much point in hiding it only to reveal it when it was noticed.

My guess though is it was just a use of caps for effect, a traditional literary technique to put more weight and/or personification behind a phrase...

Um...yeah. It"s a way of quasi-quoting something that isn't an actual quotation--just a commonish phrase.

Incicentally, I get the impression that the life support thing is just a daycycle/nightcycle marker.

Locus tried to come up with a plan. It was a flawed and time-consuming plan, but at least he was thinking. For a first day bandwagon there are better candidates (lots of lurkers to choose from).

As for willingness to give up two townies for one mafia while implementing that plan...considering the uniqueness of the roles of those who have already perished, I think it's safe to say there are some pretty creative roles out there. If we lose a few more it could be very hurtful. What are the chances of the mafia targeting two plain townies?

What is a target swapper anyway and why would Coron not want to use that power in the first night?

The plan was ridiculously silly and misleading, I'd find it more likely that he's a baddie with a way to kill around said plan than a goodie trying to come up with a plausible path towards victory.

Either that or a baddie who's trying to make it look like he's trying to contribute helpful theoretical support to help the town when he's really contributing useless junk that's misleading at best and downright dangerous at worst.

How can anyone seriously believe that the Mod would not have compensated for such an obvious strategy?

You can tell by the quality of Fuldu's games and the rich detail of the nightscenes, trivia questions and roles so far that he's put a lot of thought into the game, that he would overlook a loophole like that is in my opinion unthinkable.

Anyone who would propose that he would, is by my measure either a fool or a scum.

Either one would do well for our first day lynch.

Unless anyone has a better idea? I mean we could sit around and strategize about Trivia and maybe even assign out different areas for research, maybe the war people can assign wars from 1800-1900 to one person, 1900-2000 to another and so on in a creative sort of manner?

This would help us in the trivia round later...

But we still do need to lynch someone, and there's noone better now than Locus,

He chose to show us he didn't submit a nightchoice, so at best he's a scum trying to pretend he can't nightkill/divert attention from himself and at worst he's a vanila townie who's pretty useless and it would be a safe lynch.
