I was actually interested in playing this game, but if it will now damage the entertainment/playing of anybody involved, I'm happy to /out and having buttons take my place. I sincerely feel guilty for generating this huge misunderstanding.

I don't think that Benmage is actually in the game yet; I think the slots filled up before he could /in. If not though, 'tis a shame. I had actually looked at your meta and I like your playstyle, different as it is from mine.

The answer is yes.

There is a group of mods who will modkill you for using red text, I simply gave the newbie a heads up to run it by the mod before using it in game. I didn't tell the newbie to not use it, I didn't tell the mod to not accept it, I didn't impose my views at all.

I just looked out for a goddamn newbie trying to ensure that they wouldn't be the victim of a misunderstanding.

So piss off and take your crusades elsewhere, lying to a newbie to promote your cause is quite frankly unacceptable.

LLD, if we go by "universally bad things should be explicitly represented in the ruleset" (and it is now essentially universal that redtext is bad) then we will have to do things like "No mass spamming links to tacobells' webpage", "No posting of X rated imagery", "No actively and consistently advertising your personal blog", etc.

Some things are simply common courtesy, that is all I think this is about: common courtesy.

But yeah this isn't the place to debate this so we should just wait for the orangutan to log on.
