Night II

"Let's go to bed." someone says.
You all sleep well knowing the fact one member of the mafia has died. But with no one watching the shawdows, people still walk the dark streets.
Mlaker's house:
"Hmmm...maybe this human will be a good home for my egg." mLaker said.
"I dunno, he looks kinda icky." a soft female voice cooed.
mLaker turned around in shock.
"You got some nerve coming here!" he shouted as attempted to spit acid at the girl.
"I'm tired of you bastards fucking with me!" the girl yelled as she dogded the spit.
She pulled out a large knife and decapitated mLaker's head.
"Stupid alien." she let as she left him for dead.
As she walk out of the house she pulled a bazooka out of her large bag. With one shot she blew up mlaker's home completely.
"That takes care of the babies." she said as she walked away.

Day II

The town arises and meets in the town square.
"mLaker is gone." someone says.
"I grow so tired of doing this." another said.
"Come on, lets go get mLaker."
You see mlaker's house completely demolished and find his chared alien remains.
"Well, at least we know we won't be homes for his babies." someone says.

mLaker/Alien - Townie's Head decapitated and everything else blown up



Day II begins

Does that mean that Ripley is in the game? or is the night scene more for flavour?
And this may make me look like a complete idiot but who is "ben"? (rolands role).

Foolster41, did you get anything back from your investigation on me?
Assuming that you still investigated me. Actually before you answer that, if you did get a message along the lines of it was reflected, would it be better to just say innocent as to keep a little doubt in scums mind about my claim, and only verify my townyness?

P.S. With Roland gone, and now mLaker dead too (I was really starting to think he was scum too), my next main concern is still Stryker. Other than him though, I'm not sure where I stand on everyone else.

I happen to agree with Nightfall on Strykker's suspiciousness, but I won't cast any vote until our cop has spoken.

Going strictly by the night flavour I don't think that killer is Ripley ("Aliens" is my all-time favourite movie). Ripley is hardly soft-spoken (

soft female voice cooed

) and I don't recall her ever using a large knife to decapitate an alien, especially with their acid for blood, dangerous exercise.
Beside, what are the chances a Ripley character actually targeting the Alien character at night?

Stykker is my first choice for today. Unless we have any other info to go on.

Also, I don't remember any bazookas in any of the alien movies (At least the first 3 that I saw, though it was a long time ago). Though since the pronoun "she" is used, I think that means either the charecter is female, or the mod is intentionaly trying to trick us in to thinking it was Ripley.

What about Samus? She has rockets! She never talks, too. How's that for soft spoken.

It seems to me that by suggesting it, you ruin the strategy, nightfall.
I got a reflected result, just as you said.

Besides Styker, I'm also looking at Tradapib as being my 2nd choice. I can't exactly put my finger on why.

I was only half-joking. Samus Aran is the heroeon from the very ppopular (as some fans call it) "horror survivor" video games, Metroid.

I doubt video game charecters are included (Besides for video game adaptions of these movies), though I suppose it's a possibility.

ok so far all the people voting me are voting me for "yesterday's actions" seeing as I am the one who performed these actions I am not going to find them scummy, so before i post any more i would like someone to actually tell me what I did that was scum-like in nature.

Ok, looking back, Stryker doesn't look too scummy to me anymore. Nightfall did things that did seem quite scummy (Though I knew otherwise because of my investigation)

Here are the Strykker's action's from yesterday that makes me vote for him today (since he asked)

First, his total refusal to consider Nightfall's claim of Dracula. He starts poking holes in it as soon as it comes out. He started that whole confusing "JACK FREAKING TORRANCE IS A TOWNIE WE HAVE SOMEONE TRYING TO CLAIM DRACULA AS A GOOD GUY The setup is OBVIOUS" reasoning for not believing the claim even though Jack Torrance being a townie in this game would support Dracula being a good guy.
Strykker knew that the bad guys were given safe claims but contradicts himself in this post about the claim...

The Number 1 reason I don't believe you claim is because it feels to me like a role you made up yourself as opposed to a role that was given to you. All the scum have safe claims and to me that feels like one of them.

He says he thinks Nightfall made up the claim himself then in the next sentence says sounds like the mod gave it to him...which is it?

Second, his reaction to the cop claim.

I really don't like the cop coming out this early but a guilty investigation is a guilty investigation.
I'm not going to vote yet however until everyone checks in. We can't just trust him cause he says he's the cop, he probably is but I'd still like to hold back and wait for a counter-claim.

Not believeing Nightfalls claim had nothing to do with the setup of the game. I used my Setup is obvious speech to explain why I thought it would make sense for scum to try and claim a role such as dracula, where as in any other game setup Dracula is almost automatically scum. This does not say that I believe Nightfall it says that I understand why he claimed Dracula. I believe this was brought on by somebody asking about Dracula and speculating that he should be a badguy.

Both actually, in my experience with Safe claims the mod doesn't generally give you a whole extra fake role description. Just a name, then you should have to make up a role for that name. It sounds like the role name, i.e. Dracula was given to him, and the ability, i.e. all the stuff he said, was made up by him to try and sound believable.

The cop came out early. That's bad. Who else agrees? On the plus side, he had a guilty investigation. This is good. However any asshole could say "I'm a cop he's guilty" so I would rather wait until most people have checked in because if he isn't the cop. Or if he is and scum try and counter-claim. We have then found ourselves some scum instead of just listining to the one guy blindly and letting the wolf lead the sheep to the pack.

In the end I wasn't trying to get more roles out in the open, I was just trying to stay on the side of caution. The cop has been revealed. There is now no way that that's not true. Because if he is the cop then that's that, and if he's not the cop and the real one doesn't come out then we're following a wolf and the cop would not be smart to let us do that.

And if Foolster did in fact investigate Nightfall, and he is in fact the cop, then I guess I was wrong about his role being bogus. My bad.
