but, when you came back as "not vanilla" I was so freaking happy that I kiiinda took control of the second day

it was fun, though C and I both thought that Notyocheez was the other cop with how they hammered TIP which is why I wanted them to go first.

Nah, it's totally fine; I understand why I would be checked there, and honestly, I didn't expect anything else to come out of this game after TiP was lynched; like I said, there was no way I was winning that.

I just tried to blend in with the vote on TiP because I figured other people would vote him, and it was actually beneficial (somewhat) for town to go for a quick-lynch, based on the fact that it gave scum (me) no PR-reads whatsoever and I pretty much was forced to kill someone who wasn't obvious town or partnered with TiP because; even if that person was a VT, I would've lost in the long-run due to the fact that I would've been stuck in a 3-way with that person and most likely a clear.

I don;t think this game is a very good indicator of the setup's strengths and or weaknesses because we steamrolled the fuck out of TIP d1, and 1v4 didn't mean great things especially with us having a not vanilla result.

I think the balance is okish, I mean we defs wouldn't have gotten TIP w/o our knowledge of his Meta. He didn't even really do anything that scummy, it was just how he played and who he is is what caught him. Had anyone else been in this game, I don't think he would have been caught out as quickly

Math wise, town can mislynch only once though.

Having one cop for each of the scum players is an interesting way to do it, but otoh, it's not quite symmetrical. THe vanilla cop gets a "not vanilla" on the cop, but the cop still gets an innocent on the flavor cop. Perhaps add a VT and make the flavor cop a miller as well? Keeps it even as far as cop-goon and vanillacop-godfather. Also gives town two mislynches.

Cop get's innocent on everyone but the goon though, so I really don't think it's that bad. It's a very swingy set-up that would have gone differently should a town get lynched over TIP

I mean, the only reason I came into the day phase like that is because of our result. I wouldn't have done that if I didn't get "not vanilla" on Awstie. I know how to conceal the fact that I'm a PR when it's needed while crumbing important things, which is an important and hard skill IMO so...

and, honestly, the fact that town only has one mislynch to deal with isn't enough though molla's suggestion would require a slightly larger player-base I think. I like the simplicity of the set-up, and we just got really luck with our abilities

Honestly the game came down to the fact that Mara had TIP meta. Had TIP not been lynched - and Awest, this lies on you for bussing - the game would have flown entirely differently. Barring a scum lynch d1 this setups isn't too town/scum sided. The only problem I have with the setup is how SWINGY it is. Either side gains a MAJOR advantage based on the d1 lynch. It will probably have to be run at least four or five more times before it can be determined to be town/scum sided.
