*meep* Time for a roleclaim?

I am a little green alien from Toy Story. I can hide with somebody each night, but if I hide with someone who has been targeted by mafia/SK or if I hide with the actual scum, then I die instead of the target. I haven't hidden with anybody for fear of death...

Two hiders? I don't buy it. And of the two, I'm less comfortable with Fletcher's having been fingered by a cop than with PBuG's quickness to lynch.

vote: Fletcher

No way, PBuG. Why would anyone ever hide with that role? There's no positive benefit...you only risk death. (Okay, okay, you could
possibly
save a cop by dying in his place, but you could also be saving an SK, so those kind of cancel each other out).

Vote: PBuG
because there's no way that's claim is real.

I'm think along the lines of Cam here. It would be far too risky to hide with that role => making it an implausible role => indicating a lie => indicating scum!

I'll
Vote: PBuG
as well.

Um, I think that's the lynching vote...a small
FOS: shadyforce
for being a little reckless, but only a small one since I think PBuG's almost certainly scum.

Are you sure? I'm very sorry if it is. I looked back and couldn't see any votes for him in the preview post window, so I assumed yours and mine were the only ones. I also couldn't find a post count, and that's why I'm asking for one.

That come off joking, but I did want to know the answer...you think you're cleared because you put the lynching vote on your co-mafia? This is especially non-convincing because you yourself claimed to do it unknowingly.

I guess the difference is between the likelihood of me, an innocent townie, accidentally lynching someone who could well be mafia, and me, a mafia player, who accidentally cast the lynching vote on a fellow mafia member.

I am by no means cleared, but surely if he turns out to be scum, it's a step in the innocent direction at least.

Yikes! Didn't mean to be away for so long, sorry folks. Anyway, onto the vote count and LYNCHSCENE.

Caution: High-Votage Lines!

4
PBuG
: Fletcher, Flying Dutchman, mathcam, Shadyforce
2
Fletcher
: PBuG, Fuldu

The crowd is quick and vindictive, hurling accusations before the sleep is shaken out of all of their eyes. Quickest and vindictiveivi... vindickie... vickiewickie... toughest is PBuG. Too quick for the rest of the crowd, in fact. As y'all gather around him, he leaps quickly to his own defense.

"Please, do not hurt me, my only master is the claw! The claw choses who shall go..." he says in squeaks.

"Yeah, we've heard the speil," says Flying Dutchman. "Get the firecracker."

"Of what firecracker do you speak?" asks PBuG, not noticing mathcam coming back from his short expidition to Sid's room next door. With the help of shadyforce and some duct tape, the four attach the firecracker to PBuG's back, light the fuse and stick him out the window. With one last desperate cry for help, PBuG is sent heaven-ward, and just as he becomes too small to see, the firecracker pops, sending pieces of PBuG everwhere. One such piece floats back to the room and into the window where it lands on the desk, charred but the writing on it still mostly ledgible.

...anufactured for Pizza Planet by Stel....

PBuG, Little Green Alien, hider/blood donor, has been lynched.

Al's Toy Barn is as good a place as any for the last four of you to meet, and as it turns out, you don't have to look that far for the fifth person, either. Guided by the smell, you find Fletcher tucked neatly behind some aisles of bouncy balls, a single bullet hole between his eyes. However, there's something different about his odor this morning; it smells more like brimstone than anything else.

Fletcher,

Image
Hades from Hercules, was shot between the eyes. He was a virus.

With the final four alive, three votes will lynch. Boom shaka laka!

Hmm, so Fletcher
was
scum and either got blocked or something last night, and the SK took out Fletcher (an odd choice? Maybe not).

However, to pre-address shady's inevitable point, there may be another virus left. In which case there's 2 scum on different teams, and 2 townies. Which is, needless to say, bad...almost unwinnable, except in the small chance that the scum take each other out overnight.

So, again, I'm going to take the (apparently unpopular) assumption that there's only one scum left, and
Vote: No lynch
as it seems clearly superior to me. And unless there's overwhelming evidence to lynch someone, I probably won't change.

Leonidas, Marlin, doc, hacked to bits and FILE NOT FOUND
indentureddjinn, Hopper, replacement: FILE NOT FOUND
ZONEACE, Boo, movie cop, hacked to bits
Boomer Sooner, Dim, transporter, FILE NOT FOUND
Werebear, Randall, stalker, hacked to bits
Fletcher, Hades, mafia, shot

I think we had a vig kill tonight............

Not sure what to do next, no lynch doesn't seem a good options, but we're short on alternatives.......

I'm actually trying to do the math on this, mathcam. I think that if we're confident we have a vig (and not a one-shot vig or something), then we are better off lynching today and having the vig take a shot tonight. It's not a certainty, and I'm still running the numbers, but I think it's a better bet. I'll try to put up something definitive when I have some more time tomorrow.

Well, that's a nice start :D

We have two options, then, I think:
1. We no-lynch today, and after a kill we lynch tomorrow.
2. We lynch today, and let the vig take a shot.

I prefer the first option, as it makes it a group decision. Other than that, I can't think of any real pro/cons of either option.
