That said, I'm likely going to be the N1 kill anyway, so it's not like me protecting anyone will actually stop anyone from being killed.
Also, there's pretty much nobody in this town right now that I'd miss being dead.
Maybe AP, maybe Smashbard, but (yes I fully realize just how arrogant this sounds) bluntly, I don't see anyone who is as important to the town to live as me, right now.

For the record, just saying it now--as with N1, I will not be using my ability for any N2. Call it arrogance, but I don't trust anyone else in the game to carry us through. The closest I can think of is AP, but I'm less-than-certain he actually can with his arrogance he just displayed.

Then again, I'm one of the most likely to be killed, anyway, but eh, I'm not going to try and get myself killed with my night action. (Even though I'm trying to get myself nightkilled with my play. )

Protecting: Smashbard.

We have a cop, and of all the people in the conftown pile, Smashbard's the most likely.

I'm not going to risk letting the cop die, even if it means I'm sacrificing myself.
Smashbard's the most probable NK after myself.

If I'm wrong and he's a VT, my loss. I stopped the kill on him.
But hey, it'd at least mean the scum didn't NK the cop!

If I'm right, then I just did the ultimate town sacrifice.

I think this game was town-sided.

But the mafia losing their PR N1 was a huge benefit to town.

I think maybe 1x Rolecop instead of one of the goons would have been more balanced.

As it turns out, the people in the QT were about as accurate as the town: not very.

No, seriously. They suspected much the same people as the town did at approximately the same times, as far as I can tell.

Without charter, this game could have very easily been a scum win.

I agree it was townsided. I think a rolecop for scum would have made it better. There were a few things that happened to make it look more town sided than it was though.

1. Dunham could have got a guilty on Charter. But the D1 Thor lynched Conf-towned Charter
2. Charter probably would have investigated Thor given the neighbor situation but the D1 lynch stopped that
3. Charter was conftown for being in the neighborhood, why not kill him?

The Thor lynch was huge just from a setuop standpoint.

But ya you guys needed to NK charter for being conftown.
