That's a nice strawman you've got there. Did I say anything about not working with the information at hand? I just think it's an inherently bad idea to run someone up to L-1 to test whether or not they're telling the truth when, if they're not, there's every chance that WE LOSE RIGHT THERE.

I think the best plan is to make sure we have all the information we possibly can when we have to find a needle in a haystack like this, which is why I proposed the massclaim. I think at the very least, we should wait for everyone to check in today before we go throwing votes around on a half-baked plan to confirm someone.

So, what are we doing, massclaiming or not? I actually see both sides of the coin here. SSF has a point that a massclaim makes it a lot easier for other scum to find peach, but there's also the fact we aren't sure if other scum CAN capture peach or they have to win the normal way. Also, dislike FL's claim, not sure what to do about it.

This I agree with. Far too much risk that FL is a bowser scumbuddy taking the fall. Course, it's all WIFOM. I'm hoping that a massclaim would help us get a bit of direction. Dammit FL, confusing us like this

also if FL is daisy and not peach then he can be killed, maybe that's why Mod made a point to repeat that rule. that still hinges of course on if he is in fact daisy.

Sorry about the amount of swearing in my last post; I was pretty flustered last night.

K7 looks like definite scum to me. Dunno about him as Bowser but he might be someone to look into after we save the princess.

Also, FaerieLord, how do you know it was you that was kidnapped?

Why would he say anything as bowser? As it stands, we're essentially shooting in the dark, trying to hit the one guy out of 21 who is bowser. Why would fl speak up and draw attention to himself as bowser? That's seriously implausible.

So, possibilities: FL is telling the truth. In which case, we should halt the claim and lynch. . . well, I'd say ashmite.

FL is scum and lying. In which case we should still not lynch FL, and continue the claim.

I think FL telling the truth is quite a bit more plausible.

all it would have to be is that FL is another in Bowsers army who didn't kidnap the princess.

If FL is telling the truth then it doesn't matter who we lynch (with the exception of the real peach)

really our only hope is that FL is telling the truth, our chances of hitting Bowser's army is low, chances of pinpointing the one who kidnapped peach, nigh impossible.

It is now Day 3. With 21 alive it takes 11 real votes for a lynch. A reminder of rule 25: "Bowser may try to kidnap princess Peach during the night. The town has to prevent that. When Peach is kidnapped at night, the kidnapper has to be lynched the next day or else the town will lose."

This implies to me only Bowser can do the kidnapping.

I never trust a flavor argument. The mod shouldn't put hints in flavor in my opinion. And even if we were arguing that, I'd take it as she's in Bowser's hands now.
