- The intention was to point out his sudden 180 degree turn on his scumreads. I would've expected Button to keep his read on you because he even refused to acknowledge Siveure was town during twilight, so because of that I just kind of thought Button would ignore Deas's townslip and just pursue him.
Deasvail. You're town hardcore right now because you still haven't hammered my vote on Button. If Button really believed you to be confirmed town ( even thought he knew who was town and who wasn't ) the logical move for him as town would be to vote for ME if he thinks you're confirmed town, there's no other possible suspect for him to suspect. The fact he is arguing with me while unwilling to throw down a vote is actually really scummy in my eyes.
Looking over TheButtonMen's reads, in none of them that I recall has he listed Arugula as a scumsuspect. His scumreads stayed consistent on you, Siveure and me, the entire town team of the game. This makes perfect sense in his point of view as scum because he is a mafia goon, and Arugula was a godfather, so Button didn't want to risk bussing him under any circumstances. Then if you look at Arugula's scumreads, he DID put Button as a scumsuspect, but he had no real drawback to doing so because Button is a Goon, and the godfather can buss the goon if he so wishes to, while vice versa is very risky and dangerous. This is kind of why I think Button's justification of lynching Siveure over you ( DeasVail ) could have been a mentality slip from his mafia goon role.
During twilight Arugula changed Button into an instant town read to try and direct Siveure's venge kill at either you ( Deasvail ) or me, which actually would have made a lot of sense in his place because a bad venge kill would've ended the game and won it for scum. Arugula's big 180 degree turn on his read on me and flurry of misrepps and word twisting should show you that he was trying to get me or you shot to end the game.
I will expand on something for you Deasvail. Look over Siveure's last minute reads, use what Siveure has said because we now know that he was town. If you look at his reads you will see that he believed you and me to be town, the fact he shot Arugula and he flipped scum should leave Button as scum by PoE.
If you simply hammer Button, we will end this game and town will win, it is a guaranteed victory.
