To town, it was beneficial because town were able to follow the lead of Cerulean and JT and scum were powerless to stop them. I still think if I were scum, it would have ridiculously hard to get away with no nightkills. For instance, if Cerulean suspected anyone, there would have been literally no way to worm out of it considering they were near confirmed.
I think I realised this too late. Early on, both were looking at lynching Jesse, so I was happy to let them be obvtown. But as that last day went on, I was trying to discredit JT and was going to push a Deadpool/JT scumteam on the last day if we'd managed to lynch Jesse.
That wouldn't have happened. Empire and I have both played with regfan and knew he was town. Faradays harder to read but he was still very town. Deadpool wouldn't have followed you on that either, especially pushing that team.-

Yeah, thanks for putting up with my general obnoxiousness Tammy. It was a blast hydra'ing with you and I'd love to do it again sometime after I'm done with finals and stuff.

The QT name is Vi(6)--Vi, roman numerals for Six. You are right in the numerals part, but not the MI6 bit afaik. I occasionally call Vi Six because of the correspondence. In post 1840, Oversoul wrote:Pedit: no. I still don't get the QT name other than a play on Mi6?
I thought it was because V + I = six in roman numerals and well,.. You have a T in your name lmao.
Vi calls me Ti, pronounced Tee, like in the first bit of my username, like in the second syllable of Six-ty. It's a play on two forms of our usernames that don't see use on MS itself.-

Yeah, I guess the JT/Ceru group and Arthur knowing each other well sort of made it harder for OS and Mehdi to squeeze themselves in. I guess I am just bad at reading Equinox then. Faraday, you gotta be kidding with that hydra link, lol.
Also, I was really wondering: Tierce/Vi, the way you kept telling Tammy to stop fighting with Jesse/Thor, were you trying to get on their good side or was that mere co-incidence that they were town?
Pedit: yeah we got lucky with absta. My first reaction to Arthur going after Sixty was wtf? But he quickly got better when I was being lazy with my catchups.-

I guess I did well enough to catch one scum with that quickhammer.
Not too ashamed of pushiing against that "beard" case, though. Sucks I was wrong on Thor/N, but still.2011 scummies winner (BTS help) and participant;
coming back to Mafia...slowly. Keep an eye for me as a mod.
Also keep an eye for setup review requests.-

i don;'t think you can dismiss it as complete coincidence since they were their role. i didn't feel tammy was in any way out of line though and her goading was at least justified. it feels like something tierce might have posted as town but maybe not in the same way/idk
and no that's a serious qt link. we used AIM though (obviously)are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?-

I did too obviously. It's why I kept wanting you and f-16 to post more. I felt better about you guys when he posted, and felt like if I could see the town arhtur on a regular basis I could get over my paranoia. The thor read kept tugging at me though.-

I don't really care now since I am no longer playing with my old account and most people I interacted with know about it - that takes care of potential meta problems. Basically what I wanted to do was play mafia while being emotionally detached regardless of affiliation and I didn't want meta arguments about how I get emotionally involved when I am town. But this playstyle works for me a lot better so I'd rather stick with this account and keep my new playstyle.-

Eh, didn't really do it till I settled on Soul.
But, yeah, it was annoying.

It's Tibetan Monkey Gawd language - it's semi-common.

presumably they were hard on scum? *shrug* it happens. this type of game will attract good replacements anyway, it's just impossible to deal with them in nightless
I agree, there are a large number of the "better" players who seem inclined to prefer games that focus on scumhunting over PR interactions (and, also, I have to admit, like the idea of no one getting to just kill us in the night)-
