Sorry for the triple post, but I just thought of something else. Everyone should say who they are going to vote for king before the day ends. We can say who we vote for, not who we did. And if someone suggested this already and I overlooked it, sorry.

How is this the case?

1) At night,

certain roles will be able to vote for who the next King will be

. Players are to vote a first choice and a second choice for the King (which will be weighed at a 2:1 difference). The player with the highest weighed vote will be King, as long as they are alive. If they are killed at night, then it shall be the second player.

Ok, granted that some votes might not be allowed to vote based on this rule. However, the roles themselves on the OP, do not specify this. The only role that says anything about the votes is the town crier. However, it says "your vote counts twice as much as a regular villager." Which means that villagers are voting. I know I voted, I was told to vote in my PM. I think AI claimed he was a villager, and as a villager he should have been told to vote.

I will address Klick's plan to Test me, by having a Scummy person execute me.

I think this is a bad idea, and here is why.

From your perspective, I am either Town or scum. The Plan is to ascertain my alignment. There are two basic scenarios, the chosen King is scum (A) or town (B).

A) Scum is picked as King. Whether I am town or Scum, they will kill someone other than me.
Conclusion: Lost a town player, found 1 scum, and my alignment was not verified. I could be either.

B) Town is picked as King. Assume they execute me. If I am scum, I die. If I am Town, they die.
Conclusion, 1 confirmed town, and 50/50 chance of killing scum.

But there is a problem. Scenario A is more likely to happen, because we would pick a scummy player, who is more likely than not to be mafia. Additionally, if scenario B were to happen, mafia would kill the confirmed town at the end of the day, so total earned knowledge = 0.

Combine 206 with the mod's rule about not saying who you voted for or what not, makes me think the game has been broken in some manner.

If nobody knows who voted, and made "don't worry guys I'm the king" an individual wifom judgement if you want to believe the person or not, then the game would be balanced.

If this is all true, then likely, the people who were insistent on outing the king and outing the votes are most likely scum.

okay, here's the deal.

I am currently on a bus that will get me home at approximately 4:30 central time. when I get home, I will execute rachmarie regardless of whatever the fuck she claims.

if she flips scum, uctriton should be elected king to execute guile. the problem guile has with scummy people killing him is a problem only if there are two scum left, and killing rach pretty much takes care of that problem.

if she flips town, someone should be elected to execute guile or uctriton with my strong preference on guile. I prefer empking for this simply because he has expressed interest in testing the claim and also is slightly less active as klick, who I feel would be a good person to save the town if everything goes super fucking south. maverick might be good if you have slight doubts about him, but I really don't.

RachMarie likely planted the bomb on the bus, that's why Nacho hasn't made it home yet.

And I don't know why it's RachMarie. Last thing he said about her was that her defense of being scummy in general is similar to mine. If that's his reason for wanting to execute you, it explains why he wants me executed as well, as he doesn't "buy" our defense.

The execution hammer should be coming soon, and I expect to not be killed at night, and thus be killed by the King tomorrow as Nacho wishes; it'd be silly for scum to use their NK on me when I'm on the block. And as such, I'm down with the plan anyway. If I'm elected, I'll follow through with the Guile execution.

In case night falls and we can't talk anymore, and in case I die at night:
There's too much Nacho kool aid passed around this group of players. If it gets down to the end, that's unfortunate that he ends up winning as scum, based on reputation.

The idea is that you die today, then either guile or I die tomorrow. The plan if I read it right is that I execute guile, and either he dies as scum, or I die by killing hero

It's an election, so if the same person is elected each day, I don't see why they wouldn't be allowed to be the king again.

I really like the part where he executes Rach. Everything else works out fine as well. If Rach is scum, uct gets all votes to be King and execute guille. If Rach is town, everyone votes Empking to execute guille.
