Town's roles were broken as fuck in application.
There was just a lot of dumb shit that happened along the way.
CoolDog dying is at least almost as bad as people ignoring Xiao.

Dude Om, the game was just swingy for both sides.
I don't think either side got the bad end of the stick.

Town got outplayed hard after D1 and even on D1 some really bad decisions were made.
Town had: a role which could basically check if anyone was lying ever, could doublevote and let town effectively doublelynch every cycle.

an informed VT
a daycop
and one negative utility role

If Xay had died D1, scum almost certainly would have lost.

The short answer, BRO, is that Fuzzy still existed and there was no assurance that scum would NK the slot.

I was considering letting the game continue to play out, although the only situation in which scum didn't win at this point was if Fuzzy got a vig shot off, which he would've needed 300+ posts of substantial responses for.
I did not see that happening in a situation where scum was playing towards their wincon, so I endgame'd.

Theoretically I could've double-voted as soon as the day started and lynched someone, right?
