for Micro 877? This is for statistical purposes.

I'm trying to get side-wide statistics for things such as roles used, modifiers used, win percentages per roles, alignments win percentages for setups, mislynch rate for things such as D1/LYLO/MYLO, etc. As well as each individual player's win percentages as both alignments for full transparency. All of these statistics will be made available to the site once I've got enough data.

The purposes of this is to help create more balanced setups and to open up more options. Having this data available should be helpful in both setup creation and changing up the current's site meta. As well as give players the option to see their personal win percentages for those who haven't been keeping track of it all these years.

None of those purposes listed seem to explain why you'd need the info now and not just after the game is over.

By the way, I've shared some very detailed data in the Computational Mafia thread that you should find useful. Whether you do or not, it might be a great base to collaborate w/ other site members who've worked on similar projects.

Because it's easier to do in real-time with the approach I'm taking as opposed to going through every game after the fact. Not every mod updates the OP or even lists the roles in the OP after a flip (some don't even give a setup summary at the end of the game). It's simply easier to do it this way and I've had no issue in this past taking this approach (if anything, it's saved me a ton of time).

I'm unhappy with this setup. If I were to do it again I'd certainly exclude the cop (IC). It's not even the "lynch one scum and you clear 3 town" i hate; it's the scum having so few viable positions they can bullshit having

i do think the setup achieved my goal of energizing D1 and eliminating the awkward RVS start that defines most games. but perhaps it's energy

it's like "the neighbourhood" or whatever the 4 east side and 5 west side neighbours thing is called but you also have a named townie in the cop.

Intuition is that setups have to be a bit townsided for town winrates to actually be 50%. Maybe that's an old impression of the site meta though.
