I just read the thread, and I'm now giving you my thoughts on this game.

The inicial wagon on Parama was waaaay too weird. Almost without reason, 4 votes were in this wagon at page 1! Parama's #183 really scared me. First, he says that crypto is town, just because he said wredfar was scum. Just like that. Also on the end of this post, he takes down Packbat without any reason, when he has already some votes. He just says like "believe me, I know this". And those votes are withdrawn. Now he is already alive, so if I am bothering you, I will talk about Parama D1.

Crypto just seem very, very scummy, I have no idea why Parama said he was town. He did nothing besides "wredfar is scum". Weird.

AntB is putting himself away of the game. Like he did on #125, #135, #144 and #157 are really funny to see as a whole. Very similar to crypto.

IMO, today's revival is Packbat or Bub, not SC.

kiwi seems scummy to me too, but I'll have to make a post on this later.

For now, my vote stays on my pocket.

@Slaxx: In regards to the revival thingy, if you think today is the right time to do it, go for it.

@malpascp: Parama was seen as town because he right away started to provide important information and started hunting. Whether or not competence is a tell is irrelevant because he came off as genuine.

There are three criteria to be considered when selecting a candidate:

1. Your assessment of their towniness.
2. Your assessment of their townhunting abilities.
3. Your assessment of their electability.

You're right that by the first I would be the best candidate, but your reputation on the second criterion is good, and - due to the obvious conflict of interest - I would be much more able to argue for your election than my own.

I still think the calculus probably favors you, but I thought I'd shift my vote and see if I was wrong. I can still shift it back.

@Packbat: Yes, but you are 100% sure that you are town, which is something that you can't say about me. Anyway, it's a minor point that is kind of off-topic. Here's something more on-topic:

Right now, I'm up for a toasty wagon. He flagrantly random voted right after awesome caught some heat for doing the exact same thing. Then when question about it he basically said, "I can random vote whenever I want."

Counter-productive to the town: yes
Anti-town: perhaps
Scum: hell no

Also keep in mind that just because we don't revive a player doesn't mean that they can't scumhunt from limbo; they just can't vote. Right now I'm 90% certain that toasty recieved a town role PM. Not going to vote for him yet, though, because I'm 100% certain that I'm town, but I'll support a toasty wagon over a Packbat one because I'm more sure that toasty's town.

Distancing, no; Delaying, yes. I didn't want to go to D1 with a player MIA. If that scores me as scum, fair enough.
