Might be, I'm getting the sense that many of the most active players here are town, namely DD, KJQ, possibly Cabd. I'm second guessing unvoting now that I think more on it but I feel like 225 is accurate in that those posts do have performative aspects. I don't agree with the vote but I do think the delay between 225 and the follow up vote in a separate post 226 looked natural. A better look than that weird post of LK's last page at least:

Just had an interesting thought about townblocks in white flag, I think I've only played his setup from the scum side before and it was one of my first, if not my very first scum game ever.

I realize they're potentially much stronger here than normal because if you fuck up and let 1 maf in to the block, you still win in the end. :thinking_emoji:

I’ve been accused of being performative before so maybe it’s just my personality. Maybe it’s me trying to seem confident with how I’m feeling when I’m also usually anxious about everything.

I also wanted to bring up ming’s two posts that could’ve been one. THAT felt performative, as if he wanted to replicate a townie’s thought process but I don’t think it worked because I don’t read it as town. (Although I’m aware I could be biased as the vote is against me)

Based on their play thus far, is it the kind of defensive you'd expect more of someone who knows they have two teammates than someone with no information?

To me, the quoted post is conciliatory in a way that'd polarise their scum range between an uncomfortable new player and someone taking a creative line. I think this is a very fringe and premature place to prod honestly, and I actually really liked the way they reacted to you as a point of comparison for whenever they end up developing some more concrete reads.

KJQ's responses to Hu Tao seem fairly candid to me. If she's scum, I think she's playing in a way where it's going to be hard for her to both create believable interactions with her partners and keep her story straight, and I'd trend towards wanting to give her a day on that basis alone.
