Okay. I've received the bids for the contested power. I'll be reorganizing the table to show hero statuses. This is bound to take a while, even though I've already started... *sigh*

The highest bid was from AshMC1984 at a staggering 50 energy.

Now is the time for all the last minute details. Name your hero/villain, and any sidekicks you possess. Maybe provide a picture, or a description.

Drench is currently at 35 energy, so he is able to discard a single power to receive it's power strength in energy (the amount he bid on it).
Anyone else may discard a power, but they won't receive anything in exchange.

he probably won't. The amount of energy he has is only a measure how fast he can add it with charging.

mod, you still have to get 50 energy from ash his total

fixed.

Are we playing with teams, and if so, who is on each?

No teams. There are, in fact, 7 players, not including sidekicks, and 7 is a prime number.

so... two players with a 50 energy sidekick. The only good thing about the one from wizardcat is that he has to gamble if he has to defend his sidekick, or himself.

btw,

By the way: I'm going to put a 36 hour deadline on the "last minute stuff". If nothing is submitted before then, I'll do it myself. :P

James, the butler. Of course he didn't murder anyone, he was just close by on the moment... and he is such a decent man. He wouldn't kill them, or would he...

Nehkebonkau, the Radiant Serpent

Image

When Uldarin outlawed worship of any god but himself, the cult of the fire snake Nehkebonkau, forged in millennia of lies, crumbled. As his followers were slaughtered or apostated, the dragon of visions escaped destruction by pouring his divinity into the mortal body of his highest and most secret priest.

His host long since consumed by cosmic light, Nehkebonkau abides in a sacred containment suit built to divide his infinite majesty from the abrading friction of a finite universe. Opening its visor only a crack, the mesmeric light of the dream tyrant floods forth to crush will and murder reason.

With Uldarin gone, Nehkebonkau is preparing his return to power. He's going to be super embarrassed if he gets his ass kicked by a butler.

Okay, because the radiant serpent was a form of Yah(weh, aka Judaic "God") as a healer.

Say hello to
Zagra!

Image

History

Zagra was a normal robot at first. Built to serve, like the others. He quickly figured out he wasn't the same, but entirely
diferent
. Noone seemed to understand. With his seclusion, he quickly grew acccustomed to being by himself. Then, one day, while going to the park, a robbery was in mid way. He quickly sprinted as fast as he could and helped out with his defensiveness.

Enigma, the Mighty Mastermind
can be hero, antihero, antivillain, or villain. No one's quite sure, as he's quite fickle in his ways. He could be saving lives one moment, and committing crimes the next. His mysteriousness is odd, almost as if your perceptions of him are merely what he wants you to perceive him as. It's difficult to ascertain anything about him, as your mind seems to be fogged in his presence, making it difficult to do anything to him at all, even as he tells you what's he plans to do beforehand. If that isn't dangerous enough, he possesses a form of superhuman strength allowing him to strike, and strike hard, while his foes are dazed. Only the strong willed can pierce the black mist in their heads, but even then, there's no guarantee you can keep it at bay. Are you ready to try and solve this human riddle?

Night Watch
is a dark figure who constantly shadows Enigma, his partner in crime, heroics, and whatever else they get involved with. His sole power is the ability to manifest a seemingly illusory form of him elsewhere. Night Watch uses this to help protect his partner during combat and any other plots the two work on together. As one might expect, it takes concentration to do, and he becomes vulnerable when he does it. Still, he's fairly tough, and just because he lacks super strength doesn't mean he should be overlooked. It might be the last thing you do.

Together, they are known as the Mystifiers. No one knows what they are working to achieve, but they are getting close... And will take out anything that gets in their way.

On behalf of Drench, who has missed the deadline:

Image
Umm... well this was awkward. All Diedrich Nugenphiesun wanted was a great double-entendré for his nom de guerre in the upcoming battle, but in his haste he'd made an unforgivable, cripplingly embarrassing blunder: the Shocker was already taken! None of his friends in the chat rooms would let him live that one down. But then, he'd been able to fix his problems a lot easier now, thanks to his newly developed power gloves. It's hard to bug someone when your mind's been been wiped, and

therapy. A shame they rarely lived long enough to bow down in front of him.
In the end, he'd take back his pride as he and his ego outshone the second-class villain-of-the-week that preceded him. Thanks to his power gloves and his built-in AI HUD "Nostradamus", he had the utmost advantage in reaction time and agility. Hang on ladies, 'cause this ride's a
