Apparently, because none of the things you posted in your "case" are things that characterize scum play. The fact that your bullshit case happened to have an accurate target does not make it legitimate.
For example,
He repeatedly talked about irrelevant things like "this looks like SK, not cult recruiter" or used irrelevant things to defend himself like "I have a scummy".
He buddied me and echoed my reads for the most part of the game only to suddenly 180 when I started suspecting him.
These things are done by town all the time, to the extent that they are simply not scumtells to me.
And you used up your cries of wolf when you kept telling people to wagon other players because they were obviously scum for no reason (e.g. sthar). You were all over the place and non-communicative and not interested in engaging or interacting with anyone beyond telling people what to do. That is not good play.
There are no standard things that characterize scum play. You have to see what happens in a certain game, from certain players, in certain circumstances. If I thought that those things came from scum-Bro, it's because I considered all these. If you see it from a perspective where a) you don't care who Bro is, b) you don't care why Bro does something and c) you think that generally his actions can be done by town, you'll never catch scum.
I do not care about whether you like my playstyle. I pushed scum, I got the reactions I wanted that confirmed to me they were scum, and I told the town to lynch them. I wasn't listened to by certain 3 players, 2 of which did nothing to hunt scum throughout the whole day, and one of which (you) expressed the idea that we cannot know who is scum today, so we should lynch someone for information. Impact at least did things, but ultimately played badly - I can only excuse him because he was probably overly paranoid of me, which is understandable after the game we previously had together where I was scum.
I was constantly posting because I constantly wanted to hunt, both to convince myself I have found the scum and then for the town to also understand who is the scum. You consider that "cries" or "spam", I consider that hunting. Every time I responded to Bro's bullshit I showed the town more reason why that person is scum. You chose to ignore all of this and call it spam, that is solely your fault and not mine.
1) I did not say we cannot know who scum is today (at least at a theoretical level).
2) Hunting takes many forms.
3) The reasons you presented for scum-BRO were not compelling reasons. Really. They may have seemed obvious to you, but they were not to most other players, even those voting BRO.
I do have to say in all fairness Aegor, that in Xeno our scum team won only because Bro did such a good job and managed to beat both the other scum team and the townies. The rest of our team was already lynched early on. And had I not known he was scum I would have thought he was town in that game.
That was really clever of Jason. I'm glad that the town is taking advantage of the knowledge of what the scum chose. I'm not taking sides; I just want to see a close game regardless of outcome.
