I believe it is, I certainly complain about it enough in various places, and yes I do, and always have had a disbelief on the effectiveness of RVs. It is used entirely to often and getting reads from said stage has become practically non existant

ETL, I did try to phrase it in a way that wouldn't take the pressure off Mara. But it did seem sort of a weird question to ask her (since the implicit message seemed to be that longer RVS is good--apparently, that's what you were going for?), so was curious to your thought process behind it.

Not that longer RVS is better. I prefer RVS to occur naturally. I don't particularly like forcing it one way or the other. I am always wary of anyone trying to do so, and Mara implicitly stating that she wanted to skip it seemed to me like she wanted to state what she was doing in an effort not to get flak for it. Kind of like scumMastin going "I'm not really trying" in order to not be scum read for not trying.

30 is a good rebuttal of 28. I like the post, but I have also seen hesitations about RVS come from scum. Maybe not for the reason ETL said, but I've seen it.

Even of the idea has a good argument against it, but I still don't see how it was a knee-jerk reaction to anything.

Idk, 24 does seem like a fair assumption on her part, because it does seem to be a case of "town unless proven otherwise" type of deal, though the other two are solid points. Do you think her being kneejerky is indicative of etlscum?
