Muh's latest play looks like flailing under pressure, especially his "NOU!" comment to diddin. Policy lynching a hydra with Shotty in it is not the same as bandwagonning for a quick-lynch.

While this might not ave been muh's intention, I think it was a good move to get an easy wagon to form on him, and guess who's quick to vote him: Midnight's Sorrow. Needless to say, I'm still happy with my vote.

I don't think chk scum slipped when he said mafioso, but a more interesting possibility (although still a stretch) is if he scum slipped by saying "typical mafioso," suggesting that he's not a typical mafioso. Upon reading, this is what I first thought the slip was that Gandalf pointed out, and I think it's strange that he missed this.

I'm assuming the launch was a fake day-vig. Jimmfinn, what was your goal with it?

Mongoose, comments:
mongoose wrote: This is just like how I played in my first game as scum (dana and gollum might remember). Just try to jump on the largest wagon unnoticed.
Which is just wrong, considering the post muh made with his vote.

Then there is pro-town fluff
mongoose wrote: I bet we could get alot more info on day 2 rather than day 1, but im pretty sure lynching scum on both days will help us alot more. You can wait an extra week or 2 before finding out the mechanics of the game.

They both are still considered a quick lynch. I'm jumping onto a bandwagon on someone who is considered scummy while the others are trying to get an early policy lynch. My reasons for an early lynch are better than yours.
My comment wasn't a NOU! comment it was more of a "your a hypocrite" type of comment.

I said a policy lynch. I never said anything about how quick the lynch had to be.

Oh, well then, the wiki said it, it must be true. I've been in many bastard games, and while the mods lie to you, and sometimes the setups seem to be unbalanced, when the game ends, you realize that the other side had just as many problems as you did.

-Policy lynches aren't quick lynches unless they happen quickly.
-Newsflash: you are considered scummy.
-What pro-town reason do you have for wanting a quicklynch? At least a PL has some sort of pro-town attitude (removing an anti-town player) - yours just seems to want to limit the information we get from D1?
-Saying "Hey look you did it too" is exactly what a NOU! comment is.

I don't even care that muh has looked scummy since his initial "I want a quick lynch" post. I just figure if he feels someone should be lynched quick so we can understand the flavour more, that person should be him.

He came up with the idea, ergo he volunteers himself for it. If he doesn't wish to be the guy to get lynched under that basis, then he evidently doesn't believe his reasoning and proves he's talking out of his anus. Either way it leads to his lynch.

The "he came up with the idea, thus he volunteers for it" logic... try reading the thread, it's much easier that way.

I read the tread. That ain't logic. Just because a person would like to stick around to help analyze the results of their idea doesn't mean that they somehow believe less in the idea. Would you, for instance, know what to look for to try and determine what type of bastard mod we're dealing with? I can admit that I would not. Nice try, but I'm not buying that as "logic".

Hence the "irony" part of it.

But it still doesn't change that he can't come in and say we should just lynch someone to see what's going on, if they're not also willing to be the one that's lynched to show it. Otherwise it shows he's just after a quick lynch for his own benefit, rather than the town's.

I jumped onto a wagon. I didn't just blindly vote a random player. There were seven players voting for him. It would have been a different story if it was someone that nobody cared about. Right now people want CHK dead.

If people want him dead, they'll vote for him, 7 players out of 28 is only a quarter of those playing, and based on the lynch requirements, it's only halfway to a lynch. Ergo, people don't "want CHK dead" just yet.

But my point still remains, you are now seemingly scummy by all accounts, so why should we not lynch you for the information?

Go ahead, I'm not stopping you. As a member of the town I would love to help in any way possible and if that means dying I will. If you look at my past game I self-hammered a minute before deadline to prevent a no lynch on Day 1.

This is wrong.
Your reason where you wanted a quick lynch to see how the games mechanic worked.
I don't recall you saying anything about been scummy.

Also if I did not do this earlier :

I can tolerate Gandalf.

@Prana: I agree with you (post number 257)

I'm a little confused, how is self hammering yourself to prevent a no lynch good if your town?

I didn't say it but it seemed pretty obvious that I was on a bandwagon where others thought Chk was scummy.

The second thing is that a no lynch is never beneficial to town. I figured that I was on the top scum list and I was gonna be killed day 2 if I stay alive day 1. To save the town some time I had to kill myself.

Actually muh, you said you'd just jump on the largest bandwagon, you gave no opinion as to Chk being scummy, just that you felt like hopping on it to gain information, it's only after the fact that you wish to add in that you feel Chk is scummy. You didn't believe he was being scummy (or should I say, you know he's not scum eh?) and so just hopped on hoping nobody would really question it.
