THere's a difference between "Dropping a scumread period" and "dropping a scumread due to lack of traction". This game has not been my best (not that that's an excuse), and I feel like mafia is now in some sort of null limbo in my mind, but PoE at this point states it's either you or him today.

And, "dropping a scumread due to lack of traction" is different than "not pushing for a lynch of a scumread, just settling for whatever has popular support". You can justify it all you want in terms of PoE, but the fact is you haven't shown any interest in pushing mafia-n00b, at all.

I've asked both Cogito Ergo Sum and Voidedmafia why they read you as town. Cogito Ergo Sum gave some kind of WIFOM regarding you probably NK'ing him. Voidedmafia kind of retreated from it and waffled around it some. Neither impresses me much.

So, can you tell me where and how I'm wrong about you?

I was protective because I thought he was being pushed too aggressively at times, which made me think scum influence was involved. It still could be - I wouldn't be surprised if he were being bussed. I'm well aware I have an obvious connection to Jackal, particularly since I hammered someone else over him, but you don't think I'd see those connections forming if I were scum?

The fact that CES and Voided are both sucking up to me, when I could very well be a lynch target makes me extremely leery, and it should help convince you of my innocence. I wouldn't be surprised if scum is between CES and Voidedmafia. CES is decent at reading me, though, so there is a chance he is ruling me out correctly as town and is just playing well - he has read me as innocent before in a town full of Hoopla haters.

When I think about it some more, there was a great opportunity for Voidedmafia to cash in on my mislynch when mafia-n00b offered to hammer when I was on L-2, and Voidedmafia shirked the chance to vote for DLG. Perhaps he is reading me correctly also. Again, I am wary when people are overconfident in town reads on me - more so than overconfidence I'm scum. I'm not sure if I see Voided's play there being a long-term play to avoid the easy mislynch then and get the town points for it.

Okay, I think we can all agree that mafia-n00b is probably town based on the way Jackal stormed out of the game based on his accusation - that would just be weird bussing.

I am probably going to vote DLG right now, and if I am targeted for the night kill, I'd like to tell mafia-n00b that I support a CES lynch tomorrow over Voidedmafia. I hope it is DLG, though - it makes sense in a lot of ways. I can clearly see the signs of DLG trying to sew Jackal and me together as a pair on the previous day, and for that, I say:

Funny story. On my way into work after I posted that earlier, I had this horrible minute where I thought I had miscounted and one more vote was needed to complete the lynch! That sucked worse than seeing I was lynched earlier.

You know, given that we have a mislynch to give, I could enjoy lynching you just for the pure OMGUS joy of it.

Hoopla: There was in fact some serious bussing going on. We agreed over night that I was almost certainly going to be the first lynch today after my extremely scummy hammer of hoopsmcgee that ended day 1. You'll see the details when the mod processes the game-ending lynch and reveals the scum QT.

Not a huge fan of this setup, I've never played either a double day or unlimited voting, so I was not really sure what to expect (besides pain in the ass VCs). I think the setup definitely has a town skew, as they can be pretty reckless with the first lynch of a day knowing that it will result in instant information, even if it is a mislynch. The game may have been different if CES did not replace in, but I don't think it would have mattered eventually. Again, I've never played a double day before, but especially with the unlimited voting, I think scum has a really tough time getting through this game.

As long as specific games are not referenced, there is no issue. Seeing that someone has been active on site but ignoring a certain game is fine, as long as you put it in those vague terms. Saying SCOTT IS POSTING IN OPEN 394 BUT NOT HERE, is not good.

Ah, well, at least I had some success. And, not to gloat (who gloats when they're beat?), you were definitely coming into Day 3, lol.

I would like an honest assessment from Voided, Hoopla, and CES, and anyone else for that matter, if you had any real doubts. I'm not very successful as scum, and would definitely like to improve. Any constructive criticism would be appreciated along with anything you think did work for me.
