It's way possible that m4yhem was lying hoping that no one would counter-claim. Also voting no lynch is never a good idea because we get no info tomorrow blahblahblah. So it could be a scum tell hoping to get us to vote no lynch. If there is a real prof around, he might not be counter-claiming if it's a pro-town power role.

Just to clarify what I said in my last post (obviously I've changed my mind since then): I was saying that Thesp's playstyle didn't mean that he wasn't scum, he could be using that as an excuse.

Well, the problem with saying that the roles are definate random is that it means that the mafia could, say, get the Vig, giving them two kills a night. Among other things.

I'm a very cautious player of this game. You act too fast, throw votes around, you might see a quicklynch where its not needed. And since I was lacking time when I posted that, I didn't peruse the backlogs to find votes. I know its somewhere close. Say I had placed my vote right then. If he's -1, the day would end and right now I think there's still some planning to do for tomorrow.

I.e. possible useful actions for the cleric/genealogists/etc, and discuss the possibility of who is the most scummiest to determine who would be a good target for a roleblock, etc.

Knowing Pariah, I can definitely say that he would tell the Professor to do scummy things as town and towny things as scum.

Why should we unvote you because of this? First we will want some specifics. Which role are you in particular? There are several roles that could be said to be a cop. If you are scum, then you basically know the alignment of every one in the game. Even if you are a cop, you could still be scum. This is just a crap claim on many levels.

That would not be a quicklynch at all, and after you place your vote, you still have a bit of time to discuss targets..

Although guiding anything but the vig (and then, only when he's come out, etc.) is bad IMO.

Well, I'll probably be lynched today, because I'm scum. I'm scum scum scummity scum. I can't wait for night to fall so I can kill you all in your sleep. I eat babies for breakfast and feast on the blood of the innocent for dessert. It's a shame I gave myself away with my interaction with M4yhem on Day 1, so today can be so incredibly short the town won't give the scum any ideas as to who might be cop or doc.

I'm going to wait for more people (specifically Fritz) to post before I decide which way i'm going to go for today.

On Nai... either scum/vig kills won't be showed... or maybe the vig was bastardized so it didn't show... I can't really think of any other possiblity beyond Mayhem's "equation" having something to do w/ an uninformed mafia kill.

Just to make it public knowledge... a VERY minor scum tell makes me want to vote for Thesp. I won't reveal what it is... because if I do, then it wouldn't work anymore (I've used it in other games w/ mixed results). It's almost solid WIFOM though, that's why i'm not voting for him.
