They completely outplayed the town in this game. Haylen brilliantly coordinated the scumteam's actions to claim cop in which she would counterclaim and then ride that claim to victory. Amazingly, the scumteam was able to keep the two claimed cops alive until it was "proven" that one wasn't the actual cop and the other one "was" a cop. None of the players alive in LyLo saw the scumteam winning this game and what little suspicion there was of the two remaining scumteam was glossed over in favor of believing the "cop".

Additionally, I would like to nominate Haylen for

for the same game.

It was a really ballsy move, engineered by Haylen. It could have backfired, but it played out perfectly. Well done.

I haven't read the game, but for someone who has: it sounds like it might be better suited to Best Role Claim, maybe?

No, it isn't. 2/3 scum claimed cop - and one was a scum cop. One wasn't. It's more of a team thing, not an individual role claim.

I didn't get to really read the game before my replacement because of Tiger Attack complications but after reviewing the Mafia QT and the game I could see she did an excellent job in planning both the dual scum Cop fake-claim and made absolutely solid judgements about Nightkill choices that left Pine or myself the only logical decision the last day.

I'll throw my support behind Haylen too. It was my first time scumming, and I definitely didn't see the "big picture" even though I was in it. Haylen really did a marvelous job manipulating perceptions, and I just playedmy role in it all as well as I could. Good job, Haylen!

I actually think that MN and Yuchai played (even) better than Haylen there; part of the reason I was so paranoid about the scum claims, and wanting to make sure which was right, was that Haylen's ISO was just so suspicious-looking. She blended in fine reading everyone's posts, but the ISO was pretty problematic; I think that if I'd caught the scum that game, it would have been via Haylen. (Mastin spoiled me in the dead QT before I could come to any strong conclusions.)

Props scumteam for killing me just in time, though. No way I could voice my suspicions of Haylen upon waking up in the morning if I was dead!

It really is (I put an incredible amount of time into it, had an extremely detailed VC, had lots of flavor, with a good playerlist and a great overall game), but there's not much I can do about it.

Which is, again, one of the reasons the feat was as impressive as it was. To the town, basically, "It...seemed like a good idea at the time?", because of the way the mafia played. Heck, had it not been for Bub Bidderskins punching mafia-n00b's claim with holes (via his claim), it's actually possible that he could have lived to see a day five. The play was extremely well-done--and again, a reminder that mafia-n00b needed to let himself be lynched rather than Haylen and managed to play the part perfectly with his claimed actions (guilty on his partner) all made it an incredible payoff.

While it wouldn't have happened (due to Bub Bidderskins), that claimed guilty could have theoretically gone through to a lynch, killing Yuchai. And Yuchai's death would give credit to mafia-n00b's lynch, causing Haylen to get lynched. And Haylen's lynch would most likely expose mafia-n00b as also being a liar, potentially costing them the game--making it incredibly risky, but the reward paid off, as it was written off as a desperate attempt to get a mislynch in mylo. (Giving Yuchai free towncred.)

Basically, the scum did pretty much everything right. There's a reason I didn't have much advice I could really give them post-game. They played so well that there really wasn't much to be improved on.
