In the whole game, there were two town deaths, both by nightkill.

One of those deaths was moderator error.

Without the moderator error, the whole game, there would have been only one. single. town. death. Via nightkill, not lynch.

In other words, a complete steamroll of the scum; the town massacred them.

To be fair (and I'm a bias source) I think the setup was incredibly swingy and lopsided but yeah town still did good and I endorse this nod.

It may have been slightly unbalanced but I think the town deserves far more credit than anything to do with the design or mod.

Continuing the game started out a bit slow but it got really interesting even early on with matt fake claiming QT investigator and it was nice to see how the set up worked (9 scum in one game) and while it had some lurking the discussion was fun to follow.

Can someone explain why it was enjoyable? Mainly because I didn't find it immensely enjoyable being in it and I'm genuinely interested to hear an explanation / different perspective

I enjoyed it because:

1) The flavor was great
2) The mysteries around who was scum, even from people on the same scumteam, continued until the very end of the game,
3) I got to work out ways of avoiding a QT infiltrator while still communicating,
4) The regular revealing of new scumteams to the point of speculating if there was actually any town in the game was an interesting switch,
5) The possibility of double agents added yet another level of complexity to the strategizing
6) More that I can't think of off the top of my head.

Ok, the only reason I didn't LOVE it was because I wished there would have been more opportunities to get "behind the scenes" while still alive. I felt very confused in the game to the point that I felt like being involved in full-out fuckery but I understand your reasoning.

well it has been a bastard game you know. you gotta expect SOME fuckery.
This game was so heavy in roles, 9 mafias, curious flips, alginment changing, lynches and kills failing like me trying to speak chinese. so many questions unanswered during the game, so much thinking about it - I enjoyed it immensely.

Nominate the town of Mini 1323: Storm of Songs for Best Town Performance


It was a 9:2:2 setup. The odds were already against them. Cop got taken out N1, the odds were still against them.

They lynched scum 3/4 times, the inventor gifted 2 town members successfully, and the vig made a clutch shot against scum to seal the victory. This wasn't a scrub scumteam, either. It took some good play to outplay them.

They were a pain in the as to play against...

The clutch StrongVig N2 was all the more impressive for the uncoordinated/overlapping JK to stop the Wolf NK. That would've seriously changed the balance of the game.
