Pretty sure this is supposed to be directly up your alley.

It is better for scum to have exactly one person in the Coalition. It improves the chance of a sweep; after the first scum vote the paths are equivalent.
Mechanics in this game are pretty straightforward and not worth lingering on imo.

I think they'd both try to get in making it more likely at least one get in. It's an interesting idea that they could patsy one to get the other one in though. I like it.

I think it depends on whether or not they can both go the distance with townreads. If one flips there is some benefit to the other in there, but keeping up a consistent town persona as the numbers dwindle might be hard.
I do think this setup is slightly... breakable? Leashable...?
datisi is going to murder me for being so indecisive
Why did you choose to take Cheek of Gamma out of your coalition here? I didn't see anything suspicious in what they posted.
I don't like the Datisi comment here, the joke about not being included in 20, or the comments about the setup in 22, it all feels a bit showy/lamist to me. You've used more words telling others to explain their thought process than explaining your own in adding/removing CoG from your coalition.
"I think I no longer believe in monsters as faces in the floor or feral infants or vampires or whatever. I think at seventeen now I believe the only real monsters might be the type of liar where there's simply no way to tell. The ones who give nothing away"

I want to be the first town to successfully get a pure coalition going.
Has there never actually been a coalition victory? I've played the setup once and I think there was a coalition victory in that one but it was partially bc RAS was cheating in that game.
Yes, we vote in a (wrong) coalition. The only other strategy worth discussing is voting outside of it in the ~hopes~ that we hit scum outside and clear everyone else outside. This is not a good idea at all.
I am again confused where you are going with this and would ask for a concrete starting suggestion for any sort of setup breakage.
I think speculating on what scum will do before anyone has actually done anything or expressed any reads yet is a fool's errand, but Vulture's 61 feels kinda townie to me, I recently made the same mountainous=nightless mistake in a different game and I don't know if they invent that as scum. I also like Iverson pointing away from mechtalk in 51 and CoG altogether feels townie to me so far.

@implo - can you elaborate on that Cheek read, I feel the opposite

the breaking strategy in this game is that we only have to determine 5 people that are town, whereupon we simply form a coalition of those 5 people and automatically win
actually I guess I may be biased by me disliking Coalition's side of their page 1-page 2 back and forth, I can see why the later posts from Cheek aren't especially great if I try to reset

27 is pretty pointless of a thing to say early, that two players are reading as unaligned. I'm doubtful that a page-1 "unaligned" read has any meaning that would ever be true beyond random chance. I'm skeptical of an "unaligned" read to begin with, because of the nature of interactions there's no real way to pinpoint an interaction itself as TvS/SvT rather than TvT.
47/52 is putting meaning into something I feel is generally pretty meaningless.
I assumed "unaligned" simply meant not S-S, I doubt they were ruling out TvT. but I do see your point on 47 / 52
