It wasn't the meta for me, it was the single-minded focus. I kept going back and saying, "Why do they absolutely not want to lynch anywhere but Transcend, what could possibly get someone that caught up on /one/ scum when there are /five/," and confbias took over from there.

I'm more curios as to why mc and Maria played like they did

the idea was basically to try and get scum lynched and when that didn't work bait the scumteam into lynching me and revealing themselves because they thought it was lylo

well that kind of worked but narna not hammering really threw me off and I was tired and frustrated and should've slept over it but ugggggh

so yeah that's the rationality, at least it wasn't the worst gambit in the game LOL

Like cass I know it really really sucks to be Town leader and not get the win for your Team but honestly you did a really good job, your MyLo play was excellent and I think that one/two players can't carry everything and that's what happened, eventually with Town as divided as it was it was basically inevitable that you weren't going to secure a scum lynch no matter how great you played it personally and the Wisdom replace in kind of sealed the deal for you.

Yeah, and I played a dangerous game trying to outguess the mod there, which was where I townread PV because the bubble could be super dangerous used in a different way.

By D4 I realized there were all sorts of crazy things the mod could do to fix that and was willing to scumread Peregrine, but I had already let myself townread him too long. So in LyLo when he was trying to be the voice of reason and apparently scumhunting, I fell for it easy.
