Sorry - It must have been my misunderstanding...

Also, I thought that mathcam's penality was death... so I claimed his role to attempt a "you are going down with me" move, which didn't work. :(

It mostly didn't work because several players (me and DP) were already targeted by Schwartz. When you claimed not to have used an ability yet we knew you were lying.

Well, my penalty essentially
was
death if I explained your behavior, but I guess I managed to get the rest of the thread to trust me in enough to kill you. Mwa ha ha.

Was anyone else freaked out by how right-on lemuel's instincts were? When he first bolded that line about being sure that cuban smoker was scum I was like "huh? what? how?" And then he seemed to nail Fishbulb & Thoth earlier than anyone else. I actually had to go back and double-check that I hadn't accidentally PM'd him messages meant for scum.

Yes, Lemuel rocked.

I am sooooo glad that no-one asked me about my powers, because that would not have been very convincing.

That's the second time I've seen lemuel do that. Thankfully the other game was lost in the crash so no-one needs review my incompetence the first time I played as mafia, but lemuel single handedly ferreted myself and CS out by day 2 of his first game.

Remarkably well played again,
you b****rd

Ditto on the goodness of Lemuel.
mathcam deserves a lot of credit for figuring out a way to use the dares to benefit the town.
Thanks, by the way. I knew there had to be something better than focing DPto make Star Wars references.... :)

Using my mod powers to post in a locked thread to answer a question I forgot about...

The alliteration was planned from the very beginning, and was not part of my role. I was setting myself up for a role claim, but I hadn't decided WHAT yet. I choose something subtle, yet... obvious after many posts, so that it wasn't missed.

Only after lemuel found it did I finally feel pressured to come up with a role. I rewatched the movie, and picked tree guy, *seemlessly* tying in my alliteration to his smooth talking salespersonness.

I also intentionally flew off the handle because recently it was pointed out that I will make detailed arguments to protect the guilty me, and fly off the handle to protect the innocent me. I was trying to use metagame to my advantage. I think it worked.

Then I got smoked.
