It occurs to me that the Mr. Black hydra (aka Herodotus and Sudo_Nym) should be nominated for the "Smooth Operator" award for Chess Mafia.
I replaced into Chess Mafia for 6 months, and all I got was a win and this lousy sig.

Nominate
Reck's Mad Mad Mad Mind
for
Most Enjoyable Game
. Was claimed to be bastardly, was incredibly so, and was still one of the most fun games I've ever been in.

It truly was very well setup.
It was already nominated.
However, I think it was for most enjoyable flavor.

Sorry, but I beg to differ this.
The game was a huge spamfest. Many of the lynches sucked. I don't think we deserve this honor, sorry.
I do disagree with gandalf's post, however; falling to LyLo doesn't mean that town played bad instantly. There are many games where town plays a poor start, then picks up masterfully.

The game sucked after I died, for the record. I was the FIRST townie to die. And I had nailed an entire scumteam before dying.

Well there was a nice start, at least. BC lynch was bad and endgame got iffy, but there was a great string of scum lynches in the beginning.

And Parama, I was the first townie to die, FTR.

The only reason for the early game scum lynches going through was me bussing so hard. And FTR, I really did think Myst was an SK. I didn't kill him for the first few nights cause I assumed he was kill-immune.

wut?
However, the game's first days went through by random lynching. It doesn't deserve a Scummy. Last days were poor, until when we were able to murder the remaining scum and win.

And not to mention, I so wouldn't have been lynched if not for that stupid setup thing.

A game can't be nominated twice?

It truly was an awesome game.
Good setup and excellent flavor.
Reaper listed all the PMs and the whole page was just flavor flavor flavor.

But the setup was very good too.
Although the border between madness and genius is very narrow.

Nominate MacavityLock for Best Role Claim in A Clash of Kings

I was in a hydra with MacavityLock this game and he basically singlehandedly saved us from a lynch because he whipped together a masterful claim in a matter of hours. We were scum and he came up with the claim after we were tracked to a dead body. It had just the right mix of flavor and involvement of living townies to WIFOM us out of the lynch and survive the rest of the game for a split scum victory. We were the last scum alive for our team on Day 4 when the claim happened and we survived to victory on Night 8. Probably one of the best claims I've seen in my time on the site.

Also,

Nominate New Award: Best Hydra Performance

Hydras are becoming increasingly popular on the site. While not everyone particularly enjoys them and some players even despise them, I think it takes a certain skill set to actually play well in a hydra and good hydra play deserves to be rewarded. Not only does this help recognize players who do well, but it will help demonstrate to newer players how a hydra should properly exist in a game (ie, not schizo).

pretty sure a hydra previously won a best player award. If this is still applicable, I don't see a need for a knew award

I would prefer a separate award that is more about the mechanics of playing a hydra well, not pulling out an epic win.

This, IMO,
really
toes the line of a self-nom, because even if you weren't the one who made it, you were, if that makes sense.

But anyway, nominate for
Best Flavor Text
and
Most Enjoyable Game
. The flavor was fantastic, felt to me just like reading the books. And I think the vast majority of players enjoyed the game, even with the win condition hiccup at the end and some VI'ing by certain players.
