We interrupt this broadcast at L4KE 89.9 FM for a public service announcement.

The Lake Village trials have taken a quick turn on this third day as the council decided on charging inte with first degree murder of The Lake Village Town Major Zar,
Detective Johhog and security Officer Kingmaker.

The Lake Village jury decided almost in unanimous decision to setence inte with the mandatory punishment of life imprisonment without parole. The Judge in charge of the trial, decided to increase the penalty to death for aggravations including prod-dodging and low activity. During the trials, inte, who appointed himself as his own defense attorney argued that he had replaced into an inactive slot and was basically working on improving the contribution levels after his entrance.

It isn't known what the defendant thought of the Judges decision, as before it was possible to escort him back to his prison cell, inte produced a gun he managed to smuggle into the premises and shot himself after saying "I'd rather die by my hand that let you have the pleasure!"

Very little was to be done, as he died in the act.

. I'm impressed, Dunham, and I'd love to play with you again.

Notch analysed things correctly when he killed me, I was definitely going for him on D2.

About the setup... it's OK but I think it was a bit too non-normal. Mafia JoAT, Compulsive Bodyguard and Town Role Cop is a bit too much in my opinion. Oh well, it's far from game-breaking. Otherwise, great modding Zar, it was a pleasure to play in this game. I can also say with confidence that your write-ups were the funniest I've ever read and your timing with votecounts was perfect (and the idea to throw in some music or a work of art from time to time was likewise great). From this game alone you're now one of my absolute favourite mods and I hope to soon play in one of your games again.

Btw, I'm glad that you invited me, Zar... I was starting to retire (and to be honest I initially signed up for this game as a friendship service) but this game made me want to play Mafia again. Thanks!

Well, that was quite unexpected. Seriously, I didn't actually expect inte to be scum, guess I always get mixed up when replacements come. You guys are just one of the best towns I've ever seen. I'm aware I didn't do much to help, so congrats ;)

That was the best victory posible in the setup, so I count it as pretty flawless.
I was suprised that we had 2 townpowerroles hiden, I was thinking only 1.
(well but since they weren't so strong, on paper and the game was won on dawplay, okay)
Very suprised that Yates was one of them and the rolecop. (A role that could have been quite a bit trouble at massclaim and he asked about it day 3)
For the townMVP well I did mentione Baseline who pushed both scum and us all in the right direction.
Also congratulation Kingmaker, that was a good performance and well proved that bodyguard isn't as bad as role as I thought is is.

Just to know, who else was invited by Zar? Me, Johhog...

Great modeling and funny flavour.

Without looking at it I'm going to assume Kingmaker was killed on claim alone. Notch probably had meta reasons to go after Johhog - but I'm guessing scum had designs to exploit the Yates/Empking distraction. Again, just a guess. If it's the case, remind me to thank Empking for providing me cover. ;)

@Malp - You didn't have strong enough Town play this game, and it almost got you lynched. I will admit that I tunneled on you for pressure. I also wanted tunneled on you for protection from an NK. I was pretty sure you were scum so I was hoping that you *couldn't* kill me because the reason I got NKed would be too obvious. Kingmaker's early roleclaim took care of that for me but I thought it was worth a shot and I wonder how it would have played out. This is a strategy I'm going to keep in my back pocket for future games.

Yates: Nope, scum tried to kill Baseline.
Probably that the worst that could happen was a dead Kingmaker was not hindering them to try to kill the one they wanted.

I will forever be a little sad that the director wasn't a scum.

Johhog, thanks for the compliment, but after D1 Baseline was pretty clearly the hero. My D2 is pretty bad in light of the flips, and my vote on inte didn't have a lot of feeling behind it either.

Great set-up and flavor, Zar; it's almost a bummer we swept it so quickly, as I imagine there were more things planned.
