It was indeed Denethor that cleared Leo and he's been resting on it ever since without offering any other evidence as to his innocence.

Why do I feel like you haven't really kept up with the discussion, mlaker? My role was to protect Dethenor and Dethenor alone. Do you really think Macros would have put in a role solely designed to protect an insane cop. Seems rather unlikely to me.

It
is
a little unnerving that this is only Leo's defense.

I'm here at last. Sorry, I'm on a business trip with no Internet connexion. Hope it gets better from now on.

I am innocent - and I'm not the only one telling you so. I had no part in the killings you showed, mathcam, although I did try to kill Dragon Slayer. Since dawn, I have been trying to convince you to lynch Phoebus, because he is scum. If you need proofs, I am not sure I can give many facts. Yet: there is no way a pro-town role would have posted the way UT did at the beginning of the day. Imagine you're town, four players left, and two masons. You do not hesitate. And you don't ask for the town's advice. Also, look at the pro-town dead: they all have a name.

Phoebus is one hell of a player, but he is scum nonetheless, I am sorry, I could have tried to phrase it in a more subtle way, but that does not change the truth. If you want additional explanations, please ask away. But I must admit I find it INCREDIBLE that he is still alive at this stage, downplaying the cop's result, UT's previous claims, and UT's ability until nothing makes sense any more, and he can manage a stellar comeback.

confirm vote: Phebus
for the third time.

Hey, it never hurts to make sure, right? If we lynch wrong and it turns out we could have deduced that one of you was the killer simply by analyzing the night 4 kills, I'd feel pretty foolish.

I'm satisfied. Even if I turn out to be wrong, I feel like I'm following all the right evidence.

Vote: Phoebus
and I probably won't unvote. Mlaker?

Phoebus is one hell of a player
Wow! Sarcastic flattery just to make your case more comfy? I'm impressed!
I've had the same impression about other people around here but with recent developments maybe I'll have to re think.

confirm vote:Leo

Cam, I can't believe you can be so gullible. This is so annoying that with the least of effort, Leo is romping home to victory. All the right evidence? My ass!
It's been misconstrued - whether intentionally by you or by Leo, I suppose we'll find out soon enough.

Hm, I see frustration has morphed into obnoxiousness. It's unbecoming on you, Phoebus.

Effort has nothing to do with it. All the evidence points toward you, a cop investigation clearing Leo, the probable existence of a vig, the whole deal with the doubly-claimed role that sounded fake in the first place.

And where are these airtight arguments against Leo? That he's inactive? That he's been resing on his laurels? Yeah, that sure means he's scum.

Very well Cam. Perhaps it was uncharacteristic of me up there ^^ (well not quite perhaps...definitely...)
And if it's unbecoming, I'll try and steer clear of being like that. However you
are
right about the frustration.
Why? It'll be revealed soon I suppose. Once mlaker logs on I don't see him not following you.

Airtight arguments against Leo? There is no such thing as airtight here. My situation will exhibit that perfectly when all is revealed. However,
no one
has proved Denethor's sanity. It has remained in question throughout. If Leo is good and so are you...then mac is playing an evil trick on me! :P
As for inactivity...I am not talking about now. I am talking about a specific period of time when the pillar kills ceased before returning again. Resting on his laurels
I'm convinced that he is!

And I will not comment on the parting shot lest it give me a tag of being obnoxious, which I don't think I am...

Dammit, mlaker. Participate!

Honestly, Phoebus, I'm beginning to have my doubts. So if you're scum, congrats on being so convincing, and if you're town, congratulations on having me even
suspect
your innocence in face of what I consider to be overwhelming evidence against you. But in any case, my vote will probably end up on you.

I think I'll take another read-through. I'm going to
Unvote: Phoebus
, just so that mlaker can come in and put on a 2nd vote without worrying about whether he's going to be casting the lynching vote or not.

Well I certainly understand the problem, but I'm not sure it's a good idea to let the game hang this long. Could we replace him with someone active who was in the game recently? Maybe Ben or Werebear?

actually,
unvote

Hm, I just noticed this: Leo spells is Denethor, when the character's actual name is Dethenor.

Hmm.

Aw, who am I kidding? I just can't change my vote. In addition to all of the info already presented, there's
still
the fact that Phoebus would be the only unnamed character in the whole game,
plus
it would mean that Faramir wasn't in the game, which seems unlikely given the presence of Beregond.

Let's end this.
