I DO NOT like posts like this.

Sifting into the background is the worst possible thing a townie can EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER do, and in a newbie game like this, any other role too. It just hurts the town, and it pays to be aggressive unless youre scum. I have absolutely no problem drawing attention to myself, and its the people that dont that scare the shit out of me.

Okay, I've read through the logs, and some things I had been thinking have changed. Before, I though alvinz95 was town, and just a little overeager. However with no defense against the accusations, it only seems scummier.

With that in mind, I now am trying to think about the other people involved, Rosso Carne and cioly. They seem to be at each others throats with no real reason that I can see.

The most interesting thing I've come across is a declaration of cop, I think. From 76:

Now, is Rosso Carne declaring himself as the cop while we are still in Day One and haven't had a night? I can't see a reason why the cop would put out this information at this time. Since we are in a Pie E7 game, if we don't get the Mafia Roleblocker on the first lynch, the mafia already knows who to block. We get no information from the cop.
The alternative is that Rosso Carne is scum. I'm still trying to work out how declaring yourself the cop on Day 1 would help out the mafia. The best I've figured out is that it gives him a leadership role which would put us at a disadvantage.
Now, when the mafia night kills, I'm not sure if we would see if they were the doctor, or the cop. I figure we would. So the declaration of cop would last only as long as the cop was alive and not telling everyone else they were the cop.

What I do not want is for us to go around and say who we are. We are definitely too early to do anything like that.

For now, I'm going to believe that there is no good reason we would have scum pretending to be the cop, but for safety's sake, I am reaffirming my active

Right now I'm reading that as a more shaded declaration of you being the cop, but this one could be just in my head.

So, to sum things up, I think that Rosso Carne has essentially declared himself the cop. I also believe that alvinz95 smells of scum, but not enough for me to put him at L-1 (which is where I think he would go). I do however

I also find it interesting that oierw had been away for quite some time and when I asked for a prod in post 85 He's back after just an hour in post 86. Only one hour later he also contributes with a haphazard post (#88) .

Why wouldn't you want to know who the cop is. Then you would know that that person is right.

If we wanted to know that, the cop would claim right away.

There has been no cop claim {a VERY good thing}

You RE-E-E-E-E-ally need to remember scum have a kill and that they will kill a claimed cop faster than anything.

Although this setup is kind of broken I think {which is why i loathe it so much, but i live} since a cop claim and secret doc is almost guaranteed win, but its risky obviously.
