I guess I'll re-ask... What was it about LS that made him appear so town D1?
I really didn't think much of him for a while, but I realized there was nothing town about him from my point of view. To me, it was similar to AngryPidgeon's read of Disturbed_One from Open 452 that LS and I were in together... No one had real reads on D_O and it was determined that no one thought he was very town. It turned out to be true in that game, so I ran with a similar concept in this one.-

Well tbf we found his early posting okay... You OTOH were a bit self aware and read a bit nervous.
I found fitz okay for a while but then reassessed. And EP hated my fitz vote at first glance but I convinced him to let me pressure him.-

Sure? I'll let you know when I'm in a computer.-

Thanks for the game mod.
I was looking forward to playing in it but I think all the PRs was a bit much (both in number and ability). Scum have a tendency to lie occasionally and to have 2 town PRs roles that could watch up to 6 player interactions was too large a web to catch liars (ie scum) in. That was ultimately what resulted in LS and I meeting our ends.
And while the buckshot mechanic came in handy for town for finding lies...the same mechanic diluted scum's PRs in role-copping, kills, and to a slightly lesser degree....roleblocking.
tl:dr;I definitely think the game was unbalanced to the detriment of scum.
Otherwise I enjoyed playing with everyone and I think the buckshot theme has potential. Thanks again.Town 57w-66l :: Not Town 29w-16l:: TBD 2

Eh not really... while too many PRs pose an issue, lying is a gambit you risk always getting caught on; the inventor's death pointed at the other PRs not being a threat to the scumteam anyway.-

Eh really. And the inventor was not high on our list of kills but with the doubt on what his invention might be plus the chance he would be considered ~confirmed town we were more interested in adding him to the random kill pool with inte than another potential VT. If you think scum went down 1.2.3. n a balanced game you are delusional.Town 57w-66l :: Not Town 29w-16l:: TBD 2

I think the scope was a double edged weapon at best.
If it allowed the the user to pick one target and have the effect, then it would have helped vig, Nk and RB. It would have hurt the town tracker, watcher, and maybe the rolecop.
Tracking 3 with 3 results is better at getting info at town, even if some misconstruing could occur.I will haveLimited Accesson weekends.-

I misspoke. Obviously there are probably numerous examples of scum going out 1.2.3.
I do not think that would have been the case in this game if it have been better balanced. We can disagree on whether a town lineup that included a watcher and tracker capable of seeing all or most of a night's activity (ie catching liars...aka scum) while diluting scum's ability to do what they wanted/needed to do was too much for scum to overcome. Take out watcher or tracker and IMO the game is more balanced.
Town may very well have still won but at least mafia would've had a fairer fight.Town 57w-66l :: Not Town 29w-16l:: TBD 2

I intend, indeed, to run this again with modified power (either less town power or possibly a greater number of weaker town roles and 4 scum). My sincerest apologies. That said, avoiding outright lying as mafia is something I've found valuable in past.Current Losing Streak: 4 (record: 9)
Probable record holder for most games played on site before managing to win one!-
