Ha, I just realized that Slandaar said that Slainte's posting was pretty meh or poor, but that it was okay. He even went as to say that ability was not alignment-indicative.

But when it came to Vonflare, his interpretation was awful. Interpretation isn't alignment-indicative. Apparently it was so awful that it had to be scum or something. Just a little discrepancy I saw looking back, and I have to say Slandaar this is not the player I remember from the few town games I've played with you/observed. HMMMMMMMMM

Then you're not thinking hard enough. It has a couple minor town benefits that are mostly made irrelevant by your counterclaim.

I'd like to lynch HTL. If he flips town, vig slaan. If he flips scum, vig whoever you like

I have no qualms with the idea that myself and slaan have soft cop roles. The game set-up might be balanced for having one actual cop, so to put in two gimped cops makes perfect sense design wise. I don't feel that your claim and my own cannot coexist.

That being said I don't like that we've shifted from me and ger to me and slaan. I'm leaning towards belief on slaan, regardless of my own role, and feel that Ger or MME are probably our scum by this turn of events. I'd vote for either of them to be shot at night if I am to be lynched, which of course, I continue to not be for.

Also, as a late note, the reason why I was strongly opposed to a mass claim was so that this type of paranoia didn't spring up. Myself having a really weak info. role, I was under the assumption that there was probably more than one info roles in the game, and that this form of "CCing" would happen.

That was really fun though guys, and I really didn't expect Kush to flip red. Slandaar should've stuck with fighting the Kush lynch, maybe then you guys would be playing a day 4 or whatever.

The setup was designedly a little swingy, since power was fairly nucleated. Every town power role had highly varying potentials in how useful they'd be; I really wanted them to pay dividends for people who made smart choices with them. I also wanted to try not to be totally cookie cutter in my allocations.

I liked the idea of the Weak Neighbouriser as it gave its recipient a choice between whether to try and find scum to suicide on, to verify a strong townie to work with, or perhaps shades of the two. Pim never sent in an action, so that role went nowhere. Perhaps another time.

The Odd-Night Role Cop was useful within the confines of this setup, but probably wouldn't be seen as a generally useful PR at all. I thought out of the town power roles that would be the one to get heat, and it had the potential to be an almost useless role. However, having the mafia power roles split meant there was more chance of him finding something useful to push on, particularly if it'd got to use its N3 shot and scum were ahead.

Vigilante can be fairly anti-town; in this case it was used fairly sensibly, but things could have gone a different way. It puts a lot of power in one person's hands! I mainly included this one for the fun factor and to keep mafia on their toes.

Mafia-wise, the power roles were split so as to not centralise them in one spot, and to add ciphers for the Role Cop to find. The Tracker was only truly reliable at clearing Vig prospects, and the RB was also only reliably useful for locking down the Vig -- if the situation called for it, of course. Whilst neither PR would be auto-guilty to the Role Cop if scanned, I felt it should make them see them as more likely guilty than not if they'd thought about things a little.

I'm happy enough with it for my first outing, I think! Thanks for playing. I may venture a themed game next time... we'll see.
