I assume my lyncher friend would just claim being a survivor at this point if he were non-scum and the target were dead (as MoS has told me that I get a survivor wincon in the event that my lyncher wincon becomes impossible).

So, in other words, it implies that BB's living ally is a Mafia Lyncher who knows that I am allied with him, and therefore his scumfriend BB knows about the mechanic and knows to crumb lyncher stuff. I took it as a "being the lyncher ally" crumb in real time, though I see how he could have meant it either way.
