Oo, are we not waiting for Shelper to make a defense of some sort?
I see that its like ONLY 4 of 6 but...are we like deadlined or something? What is the point of using foul language, downright rudeness, slurs, etc on a gaming site? This is really distasteful.

No posts made and already two-thirds of the votes needed, i feel so loved.
Since it would appear we're following the strategy from yesterday i'll just go right ahead and claim.
I am roac, and an old roac at that, i can't see that much and i can't fly as well as i used to either.
I don't have much to offer the town except my bird brain, so yeah, i'm a plain townie.
As far as i can see, all the votes were based on me for uraj's voting, does anybody else have any good reason for voting me?No, Im a rebel! You cant bully me into doing things I dont want to! -VisMaior -

hm. For once, a plausible roleclaim.
Let me do the numbers.
11 players left.
5 dwarves left, including Thorin.
3 scum left.
1 hobbit left
most likely Beorn...
And that's 10. I'm leaning towards not believing it, because I can think of other minor roles I'd tend to include before Roac, and with dwarvish townies so far having the old bird as a townie as well seems a bit off. Still, I can't discount the possibility completely.Success breeds suspicion-

I'm honestly not completely sure.
I do want to keep the sweep going, but I don't think this lynch is a bad thing in either case. Roac isn't a role that automatically has to be in this game (he was a named character, but with a bit part), so we can't confirm that way. The way I see it, we have 10 of 11 roles pretty well accounted for -- those peoplehaveto be in this game. So if we lynch Shelper and he's scum, wonderful. If we lynch Shelper and he's innocent, that's the mystery 11th role and we can't possibly be fooled by a scum roleclaim again. Either way, it looks pretty good. With 11 alive and 3 scum left (2-1 split), we have the leeway to recover if this is a mistake.Success breeds suspicion-

Hrm, that reply is almost as interesting as the role-claim we've all just seen.MMCL wrote:Oh - now that is interesting.
Im not voting shelper.
You seem adamant, MMCL - is there anything else you can tell us short of a blanket refusal to vote?"Marijuana inflames the erotic impulses and leads to revolting sex crimes" Daily Mirror (1924)-

'A' roäc? Roäc was the bird's name. What he was 'a' was a raven. I feel bad for shelper, because there really is no way he can defend against Uraj's actions and now (if he's scum) he's well and truly scrod, but I just don't buy his claim. In a way I hope heisa townie because then he can replace someone else if need be, but I think he's in an awful spot through no fault of anybody but perhaps Uraj and that's that. Vote stands.I think it's pretty clear that TSS's awesomeness did alter the roles each of us recieved, and thus he's obviously pro-town. -- Save The Dragons-

Die, scum. You knew you couldn't claim any person, so you tried to google a suitable animal? Your nice site is the first that pops up while searching in google for "The Hobbit" + animals.............. Seems forged to me!
Confirm Vote: Shelper-

I voted based on his voting pattern -- reluctant to vote goblin jediknight when he messed up, but quick enough to vote non-goblin Argoti whenhebungled his claim.I think it's pretty clear that TSS's awesomeness did alter the roles each of us recieved, and thus he's obviously pro-town. -- Save The Dragons-

OK - here's the reason I am reluctant to vote Shelper.
His roleclaimed character is specifically mentioned in my roleclaim. It's not the same character I have - but my character mentions his. What does that mean? Im not quite sure.
I'm in two minds over whether to vote him or not because of this.
I want to hear from him one last time - so I would ask that nobody votes him just yet - then I will make a decision.-

Dutchman, what kind of accusation is that? My character name appears on a website? Hell, if i google "the hobbit bilbo" and a website also comes up *mentioning* bilbo, whoever claimed him must be lying?
I gave the website because i thought some people might have read the book a long time ago, and didn't remember all of it. Sue me for trying to give the town information i thought might be helpful?
Vote: Flying Dutchmanfor some of the crappiest logic i have ever seen.
Speaker: I can't explain his voting pattern though, there is only so much a replacement can do. He said he didn't vote for jediknight because he was waiting for more people to give their thoughts about him. I'm not sure how high the vote count was or how many people still needed to give their thoughts. No, Im a rebel! You cant bully me into doing things I dont want to! -VisMaior
