Mini 749 - Antarctic Mafia [Game Over]

Antarctica, the most beautiful place on Earth. With lovely weather reaching highs of -16° F, with its ice and its snow. Most importantly though, it is home to penguins of all walks of life. You live in the South Pole. Members of your colony have begun to disappear, one penguin each night. You always discover the bloody body, conspicuously placed near the edge, by the big water. sticking out in large contrast against the white snow, stained by the blood of your fallen comrade. The leader of the colony was Humboldt, an elderly and wise penguin. He has concluded that there is EVIL afoot. Predators about. A...a...a mafia. You're penguins, so you have some vision problems. Go figure. But each day, you may penguin squabble amongst yourself and decide to lynch one person, hoping to find the mafia...whoever they are..and restore peace in Antarctica, before the mafia take total control...forever.

Please bold your votes. Example -

. Votes that are not in bold will not be counted.

If you decide to change your vote, bold an unvote to indicate that you're removing it. Example -

. If you do not unvote, your new vote will not count.

Lynching will require a majority of the votes. Once a lynch is decided, the decision is final. Feel free to continue posting until the thread is locked, but unvoting before I check the thread will not prevent the player from being lynched.

If you are lynched or killed, you are dead. A single "bah" post is fine. NO other content allowed.

Any questions, concerns, prod/replacement requests, or whatever, you can either PM me or post it in the thread.

Never quote anything that I PM to you, unless express permission is granted. This will result in a modkill.

Treat this game as a commitment and be considerate of me and your fellow players.

Do not discuss this game outside the thread at any time, except if and when your role specifically allows you to do so.

If you don't post for several days without notifying me that you will be V/LA, you will be prodded. Not posting within 48 hours of the prod or a total of 3 prods may result in your replacement.

This game enforce a strict deadline of 3 weeks per day phase - 4 weeks maximum if extension, and 72 hours (3 days) per night phase. You have been warned.

[14].

If a majority is not reached by deadline, the person with the highest number of votes as long as it is more than one will be lynched. In the case of a tie, the first person to reach that number of votes will be lynched. The person who would be lynched if deadline were to reach with no changes will be indicated in votecounts with red font.

[15].

The Mod is not God. Just a pretty awesome penguin. He may make mistakes. Please point out any mistakes and they will be corrected where possible. Sometimes mistakes are made that cannot be reversed, and these will stand as final, to be commiserated over after the game.

[16].

This ruleset may be incomplete. If you spot an obvious loophole, don't be a jerk - PM me and point it out. If the Mod discovers an oversight, or feels a player is doing something that, while technically within the rules, is against the spirit of the game, the Mod may add to these rules and inform/warn the players affected as appropriate.

You all awake from your slumber. It is a cold and windy day. It is impossible to see the big water due to the snow covering the frozen horizon. Slowly, a small portion of the penguin tribe waddle to the edge of the ice, deciding to go for a swim, due to the perfect weather conditions. "Murder, murder!" one of the younger penguins squawked, the scream echoing off the ice. Upon further examination, you realize that the body belongs to that of Humboldt, a Town Elder. Well, what was left of his body, anyways.

With 12 alive, it takes 7 to lynch, Day 1 begins!
