Yeah, you can post. If people want to reveal their roles they can.

The setup/night action log I'll let HC do when he returns

Victory!

Yeah, scum's win condition was "Werewolves make up half the town," and there were four of us (me, Starbuck, Mike, Ztife) left in an 8-man town. As far as I know, none of the werewolves have special powers.

Obviously, am not the Little Girl/Tracker. Starbuck is/was my scumbuddy, so I knew anyway that she couldn't be Piper, I just had to communicate that message to the town in a way other than "Hi, I'm scum."

Jahudo played a really good game with a hard role; it's just bad luck (for him) that he didn't win.

Also, town probably lost their chance to win this game around Day 5. Too much bickering/lurking/other self-destructive behaviors. By yesterday, townies were actually in the minority.

Thanks MafiaSSk for picking up the pieces of this game

Meh, I wasn't into my role at all. Good game scumteam. Nabakov had me fooled the whole time.

my role pmYou are the Piper. Each night you will select two new players to fall under your musical spell. They will wake up dancing during the night and will remain charmed for the rest of the game. All charmed players will know who each other is (are?), but will not be able to communicate in any way, and they will not know why they are dancing. You win when all LIVING players are under your spell and you are still alive.

Let's see if I remember all my night actions:

Night 1: DizzyIzzyB13 and Barrylocke
Night 2: Juls and Percy
Night 3: Rockatansky and The Replacement
Night 4: I don't know??
Night 5: Battle Mage and Ztife
Night 6: zwetschenwasser and MikeSC6

I targeted people I thought have the best chance of surviving while not being so pro-town they'd be the obvious NK (which I was wrong on a few times), so lurkers and people that I just guessed were going to be hard to bring up cases against.

Thanks for modding MafiaSSK and HC.

Bah. Good game.

Yeah, I knew mike was scum from pretty early in the game, and I was pretty sure Starbuck was scum too, but I just couldn't seem to get them lynched.

NN, you played well. The biggest factor, though, is that a town this inactive really just can't win. It also didn't help that we had two separate times this game when a pro-town player lied for no good reason, was caught lying, and was lynched because of it; that, itself, really hurt us.

I was following the game on some level as it went on. Care to clarify on this?

Well, day 1 Xtoxm and Millar both lied about their role (both before and after the replacement), and were lynched because of it; they became a tree stump, but it was really just a waste of a lynch and of a pro-town body/vote. (They weren't "dead", but they couldn't vote, so it still brought scum one day and one body closer to a majority.)

Then day 2 Mufasa lied about his role. Day 3, it became obvious he was lying, but even when I gave him a chance to do so he refused to admit he had lied. He got lynched for that, and he was also town.

Really, town need to not do this, it's quite bad for the town; not only did it make us mislynch twice, it made us mislynch twice in ways that gave us no information, since when someone is caught lying like that anyone, town or scum, will vote to lynch them.

Thanks, I forgot about the Xtoxm/millar situation.

I take some credit for the destruction of the town day two. Not all of it, I still hold to my original point even though dingo did not turn scum. However, the argument became too entrenched at that time. Discussion couldn't change to other members and thus information became stifled. I hit my anger limit, self killed to both end the conversation and allow the eight females back into the game.

Which brings me to my second problem, women off picking flowers? Not the name but the effect. I have a problem with a game where a mechanic forces any number [1 or more] players out of the game for a couple weeks and then bring them back later with and expect them to continue like they never left. Not a criticism of the mod, just of the game itself. So I can easily support Battlemage's apathy at the end because why should he care?

Anyway, that just my opinion. Felt like giving my follow-up thoughts to this game.

Yeah, that wasn't good, that led to some of the problems that made the game crash due to lack of activity.

I sent a message to HC with this exact complaint- you can't tell half the town they can't do anything for a few weeks, then expect them to come back and be as active as those who didn't leave.

Awful lot of Village Idiocy on the town side, plus the mother of all townie fights, cost this.

My night actions were, incidentally, to protect Yos2 night one and kill Percy n2.

Well played, scum! Even though most of the original scum were useless lurkers.

The dingo/pepper debate was particularly difficult for me to navigate. Nice shot, fonz.

Just been reading thru the early part of this game...

funniest bit was mike trying to explain to mufasa that the expression is 'bare with me...'

It isn't, it's bear...
