Mini 797: Poof! Mafia. Game Over!

Dusk falls in your tiny town of Somewheringtonness, and all seems to be peaceful. However...something odd happens in Somewheringtonness...a certain dream seems to occur. And that dream engulfs your little hamlet. Everyone wakes up...in a world where space and time bend to strong wills, where good and evil are amplified, and where everything is amorphous and blue. And not a pretty sky blue, just a kinda "Where the hell am I is this space?" blue. The 14 of you wake up to this. Well, actually, 13 of you. You notice a gasping and fading Tarhalindur lying on some blue. As his body appears to disintigrate into nothingness, he gasps "...poof...". Not knowing what to do with this ambiguous clue, you know something weird is happening. So, of course, you appoint the countess of your hamlet, forbiddanlight, to decide what should be done in this situation. Being a little crazy, she suggests you all lynch people til the bad guys die. She also mentions that the bad guys might try to kill people at night, or at least when people are sleeping in this blue. So, with that, she somehow conjures up an old fashioned gallows, throws up a chalkboard to keep track of votes, and tells you all to go wild.

The rules. Stolen very VERY loosely from Tahalindur.

1) I am the mod thy goddess, and whatever I say is law. If you make a mistake voting, tell me so I can correct the vote count.


2) Don't have fun at the expense of the other players in this game (in other words, don't be a jackass). Repeated or extreme violations of this rule will result in being Absolutely Removed From The Freaking Game Forever And Ever Because You Suck

2a) Attempting to use loopholes in the rules to gain an advantage in the game is considered jackassery, and will be treated as such. This applies to things like encrypted codes, invisible text, editing and deleting posts, trying to use the structure of the role PM to gain an advantage, etc. Please, use your common sense!

2b) If you are Absolutely Removed From The Freaking Game Forever And Ever Because You Suck, you've personally lost.

2c) Townies Absolutely Removed From The Freaking Game Forever And Ever Because You Suck cause it to be night. Scum Absolutely Removed From The Freaking Game Forever And Ever Because You Suck for some reason do not cause this effect. For the sake of argument, any third parties will count as scum for the sake of Absolutely Removed From The Freaking Game Forever And Ever Because You Suck.

3) Rule 3 has been Absolutely Removed From The Freaking Game Forever And Ever Because It Sucks.


4) You vote for someone to die like this:

4a) Anyone or anything that reaches lynch count will be lynched, regardless of whether they are actually in the game or not.


5) Days have a deadline of 21 days. A deadline extension of 7 days may be granted by a majority vote once per day.

5a) If no one has reached majority by deadline, the person with the most votes will be lynched. If there is a tie, each player in the tie will send me a haiku. Whichever one is more amusing will be spared the rope.


6) Nights will last between 48 and 72 hours.


7) If someone has a night action and fails to send it in before night ends, they will take a randomized night action.


8) No outside talking about the game, unless your role PM says so.

8a)Mafia Discussion threads are NOT a part of this game. Do not post there looking for advice on this game. If I have reason to believe that any posts you make in Mafia Discussion are made for help in this game, you will be Absolutely Removed From The Freaking Game Forever And Ever Because You Suck.

10) Dying means you can't post in the thread anymore. So does Not Existing

10a)Dying means it is perfectly fine to post in the thread. If you are Faded to Blue, you may not post in the thread.

11) You are, however, not dead until I say so. You also are not Faded to Blue or Absolutely Removed From The Freaking Game Forever And Ever Because You Suck until I say so.

12) Unless V/LA is declared in thread, you are expected to post at least once every 72 hours. Failure to do so results in prodding for the first two offenses, and the final offense will involve you being force replaced.

13) Twilight posting is alright. Until I lock the thread you can discuss anything.

14) Dark Blue is my color. Using it risks being Absolutely Removed From The Freaking Game Forever And Ever Because You Suck.

15) If 3 no lynch/no kill cycles occur, Rocks Fall, Everyone Dies. No one will win.

16) I reserve the right to add rules if necessary, or just because I felt like it. Deal.

17) Just so you know, rule 2a does count quoting parts of your role PM, or paraphrasing too closely. If you want to paraphrase your role PM, PM ME FIRST!
