Are you able to inform the mod if there are players you don't want to play with? Because Secret Alt can result in some clashing otherwise.
Extremely unlikely in my experience because it’s SECRET alts and that very often changes one’s play.

Unlikely is not impossible or improbable, and safety is my number 1 concern in joining mafia games these days so, yeah. Suffice it to say I don't agree with your take, and even if I did it wouldn't change my position or request.

But that’s probably beyond the scope of this thread anyway. I understand protecting one’s safety but I was probably remiss in adequately failing to explain my point:
People in secret alt games have an obvious investment in not being alt outed, so yes, they are highly likely to modify their play expressly because of that. In fact, in many secret alt games, this is even a requirement and attempting to secret alt guess can get you force replaced.

I am picking up my modding hat again, and I am preparing Episode 2 in my Chrono Trigger Mafia series.
Semi-open setup based on Council style games, I have a lot of the framework but have changed my original plan for balance towards a more traditional game.
I had more than enough pre-ins for it, but as its like 18 months later, would anyone be interested?

what about a setup where every town member is some kind of gated vig (n1, n2, n3, n4, etc.) and mafia are informed of the different groups of vigges in waves. like on day 1 the names of the night 1 vigges are revealed mafia, then on day 2 the names of the night 2 vigges are revealed to the mafia. so this would allow mafia to position themselves to fakeclaim shots maybe? this seems townsided though.
