Um, to everybody still standing outside...do we know where Locke or Valentine will even take us? Because if that tiger's heading towards L.A. I'm not so sure I want to be going there anymore.ShowRECORD

I'm wondering whether Locke losing his innocence really is the good choice here. Say we pick Valentine and the innocent get disastrous repercussions. Maybe it's pick the lesser evil.ShowRECORD

How interesting. The two advocates are voting to follow Valentine yet none of the rest of us are voting either way.ShowRECORD

Not at all. I'm saying the advocates had better give us more information if they want us to make the same decision as them.ShowRECORD

The choice is not obvious. There may be worse repercussions if Valentine drives, perhaps losing an innocent is the easier route, we don't know because neither of you seem to be telling us what will happen to us. It's apparently that either you don't know or you're not willing to tell us so I'm going to turn to Valentine and ask her.
Valentine- What are the repercussions or benefits to the innocents if you are to drive?ShowRECORD

I think anyone willing to lose an innocent over the unknown is suspect. Actually you wont be just losing one, you will be changing the alignment of one. Of course, I will have to die after, but if you know anything about Mr. grey and his antics, you know that dying is not always the end of someone.
tell me Count, how familiar are you will Grey's past adventures?-

Locke we all know that the guilty will lie to fulfill their evil deeds, so keep in mind that I don't take everything you say at face value. That is why I'm curious to hear what Valentine has to say first before making any sort of decision on who to follow. I am not too familiar with Mr. Grey's past adventures.ShowRECORD

I heard from a friend who heard from a friend that I used to work for that the previous people that participated in City of Angels could vote on a death even after their own. When I signed up for this acting gig, I was told to allow 3-4 months for the filming of this. I assume a simple green text line will not be the end of my committment. But perhaps I assume too much.
Valentine- Can you summarize the advantages and disadvantages as you see them of either of you driving? It seems that Locke has a lot more info then what you have given.-

First addressing Locke
I wasn't given any information other than I should be the one to drive.
Walks to Julie to address her
If we are to believe "Locke", The advantages are that Locke remains an innocent.
If we don't believe Locke, I'm the only one in danger for I'm driving. My intentions are pure and I was meant to lead.
The disadvantages if "Locke" has lied, we will probably lose one of our numbers, me.
The disadvantages if "Locke", is honest are nil.Sometimes a sandwich is just a sandwich.-

I'm having a hard time imagining why in the world we would make John Locke drive, especially when the dude's so old he hasn't seen a car before, right? How are we going to expect him to drive a friggin' bus?
I'm a little surprised that Locke knows more about what will happen next, though I have a hard time imagining him lying to us right now. I suppose I'm more surprised that Valentine seems to know nothing.
I'll be more than happy to have Valentine drive. I'm eager to get to my game in town before it starts. Are we unanimous in our desire to see Valentine drive, or am I making stuff up from one too many shots to the head?"When playing a game, the goal is to win, but it is the goal that is important, not the winning." -Reiner Knizia

We have not yet reached consensus.
And don't forget this scene needs to fill up about 14 minutes and we haven't yet reached 4.
Furthermore each of my split personalities (don't ask) was tempted vaguely by the idea of calling the Lockester out on what he's said- letting him drive then letting him get mobbed by his legions of fans when we get off-set. That way we guarantee to get rid of an evil presence, whether he started as evil or just got corrupted by driving a contraption which never existed in his own time.
Why do people think just because both Locke and Valentine have been given information which leads to the same conclusion this is the right one? Is it as simple as that?
We (my personalities) were also wondering if we should take a spot-poll of passers-by off-set as to whether they think Locke is lying or telling the truth. Neither of us are familiar with Locke's previous roles so we're not sure whether we should be impressed by his performance at this stage. The cameraman could perhaps send us a thumbs up or down if people think his acting is or is not up to its usual standard.-

COUGH
IT HAS COME TO MY ATTENTION THAT PEOPLE FEAR THAT WHICH IS UNKNOWN. I HAVE NO FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN NOR WHAT IS LURKING IN THE UNKNOWN.
LOCKE YOUR SPIRIT IS STILL SELFLESS EVEN AT YOUR OLD AGE WHEN YOU SHOULD BE TAKING CARE OF YOURSELF. HAS IT EVER OCCURED TO YOU THAT THE BEST THING TO DO IS FULFILL YOUR MISSION AND DRIVE EVEN IF IT MEANS LEAVING THIS LIFE AND MOVING ON TO A BETTER ONE ABOVE.
VALENTINE, YOU ARE SO CERTAIN THAT DRIVING WILL SAVE US FROM LOSING AN INNOCENT. BUT, PERHAPS LOSING AN INNOCENT IS A BETTER REPERCUSSION THAN THE ONES CAUSED FROM YOUR DRIVING SKILLS. YOU MUST BE FULLY HONEST TO YOUR OWN CONCIOUS AND DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT YOU BELIEVE YOU ARE CAPABLE OF DRIVING US TO OUR DESTINATION.
