If you feel your method works, go ahead and use it. I myself haven't seen enough evidence that it works well enough to trust---especially since knowing your metrics makes it so easy for scum to play in a way that puts them in your 'cleared' zone.

So it's everyone else's responsibility to get us out of the RVS? That's an strange way of looking at things, don't you think? Especially for an IC?

Considering the conditions I placed upon some of my reasons it's unlikely they can easily be gamed and I doubt anyone is cracking my formula especially since it's since been updated with even more data.

I guess there is a bit of ambient sarcasm in my post that would be hard to pick up on, the dislike for the RVS and the hope we'd be beyond it was sincere however.

People shouldn't sign up for games that they aren't willing to play.

No, scratch that last post. Every one of us has voted except for Danny, even though Danny has been around and talking about stuff, he has not voted. Why would he do that? Is it simply because he does not know who to vote for.

Or is it because he is scum and is waiting to convince some of the other people to change their vote so he can lynch a townie and give the scum a double kill?

I will have to ponder this over time...

I didn't think it was, just that we just had a holiday weekend which often slows things down and the newer players might not have known that they should declare a V/LA if they were. Furthermore, if you're legitimately annoyed then you shouldn't be passing the buck, especially since as an SE it's partially your responsibility to keep the game moving.

I'm not really sure how the game progress's past the RVS.

At this point in time, the only thing I can really do is find an reason to switch my vote to someone else on the list for no reason, which doesn't do anything, or attempt to sift through the posts for any sign of scummyness, and I don't think I can accomplish much except nitpicking and being condemed for it. I'm new to this and I doubt I can see the more subtle reasoning more experienced people use. Best I can hope for is someone declaring themselves Mafia :/

Dilemma much?

Just vote, or better yet, convince Debonair Danny DiPietro to vote. For that matter,

unvote, vote: Debonair Danny DiPietro
for holding us up.

So let me get this straight you find nothing else warranting a serious vote; so you vote for me for not voting when I don't find there to be a serious reason to vote either. Would me casting a random vote really move the game along in any serious fashion?

Yeah, what this game needs is some "interesting" trivia.

So hey, skitzo's name and mine both mean "split", only from different languages (Greek and Russian), and mine is spelled the normal way and his isn't.

So here's a super serious question for diakron: if you'd known that, would you have voted for me?

Huh?

Raskol, this my share of "interesting" trivia. Maemuki means "positively" in Japanese. There's also a ending theme for the Pokémon anime named "Maemuki Rocketto Dan!". More interesting stuff, you joined MS on my birthday. That was..strange. Oh, and can we go back to getting out of the RVS?

Woooow. Vote hopping much Diakron? Why?

Aside from that, I don't know how getting DDD to vote is going to get us out of the RVS. But maybe that's just me.

EBWOP: I guess it was my fourth post, I was just thinking it was the second since the first three all came together.

But yeah, the vote on Diakron is serious, and so is the question, all appearances aside.

Also, Bub Bidderskins doesn't mean anything in other languages, it was just some random name I cobbled together when I had too much time on my hands.

Prodeees prodded, votes tallied, AND after 2 months of no heating, and 10 days of hell while they 'fixed' it... I HAVE CENTRAL HEATING AND HOT WATER!

(In other words, sorry for being a bit lax with the vote counts etc, but I had workmen in my house causing floods and generally being bloody annoying)
Always forgive your enemies, nothing annoys them more.
