An experienced scum would be very bad for the town. A loose cannon townie not putting much thought into his picks could be very bad for the town. I think the HoH should pay attention to the scum hunting going on and do plenty of his own before finalizing his picks. The HoH ultimately has the power and with the high number of scum in this game, I'm not so sure a majority voting system outweighs good scum hunting. Yes. If the player is town then they will tend to listen to town and pick the most nominated player. I read the old BB mafia game from 2007 (linked by farside in the calling thread) and they used a nomination for the two players that should be picked by the HOH for final voting. To a certain degree, the HoH should consider what the town wants. However, there must be an amount of personal responsibility and if I disagree with a large portion of town that one person is scum, I wouldn't put them up. You have to be willing to listen to the other points of view, but not sacrifice your own and treat the HoH position as a weekly immunity. No. If I the 'townie' individual makes a mistake, or I misread people and the person I think is town gets lynched, I'll be kicking myself (unless that person came up as scum).
