Here let me fix that disaster for you...

Dearest sirs and madams, if I may pray bother you with a humble query then I would consider myself most fortunate. How much experience doth thine have with the game of mafia on both this site of the interwebs and across the entirety of existance. Good sirs and madams I beseech you that you respond in good haste.

To which I answer: trout.

@Debonair Danny DiPietro: I shouldn't read your posts in the library. They don't appreciate loud noises such as laughter.

@muh316: I've only finished one game on the site, so I'm relatively new. I'm in 3 others currently.
Weirdly enough, when you put Torqez on L-4 because you wanted a bandwagon, you left the bandwagon on JVW that was at L-4.

how about we try a no lynch. It might be beneficial and It will give the cop some time to investigate. The doc/Jk will try his best to keep everyone safe and we could possibly get some information by Day 3.

Day 3? :?

I think you mean Day 2.

Usually I'm opposed to the no-lynch idea ...because lynching is our only method of killing as town, and we'd waste an opportunity.

But atm, I'm getting bored of Mafia (going through a phase :() ...so i'd be willing to try anything for the sake of variety!

Sounds like you'll be a liability to the town even if you are town. Everyone not voting Torqez should be now for his uselessness.

I did randomvote...everyone :D I guess I could have posted a vote for everyone but me, but that would have gotten annoying. RVS is useless anyway.

As far as getting this game going, I could go for a no lynch or a lynching of Torqez. Doesn't matter to me much either way. If Torqez is town, chances are that we would lynch a townie D1 anyway, if he's scum, then all the better. If we no-lynch and scum don't get lucky and kill the Cop if there is one, then we have more info for D2.

On the other hand, I will say this reasoning given by Josh for lynching Torqez sucks ballsack. "Three posts, no content." It's page 2 man, your posts aren't exactly the epitome of quality and content. I'm not blaming you for that as it's page 2, but to call someone else out on it is pretty contradictory. What say you sir?!

You don't think "" is explanation enough?

Okay, it was a reaction test. Sort of a "throwing crap at the wall to see what sticks" thing, if you will. Only reason I'm admitting to this before PE has even reacted is I've now got a better way to begin discussion.
Josh Lyman wrote:Three posts, no content. I tend to agree with D3 -- let's lynch the admitted useless one.
"tend to agree"? That's not a phrase people normally use when they agree with
one
person on
one
point. It's an indirect way of stating your thoughts, (as opposed to the more direct "I agree with D3",) and that's a sign that you know your thoughts are wrong.

In fact, I looked through Josh's finished games. Admittedly the sample size is small, but I noticed in one of his scum games, Mini 799, that he used several indirect thoughts (mostly in the form of "so-and-so doing such-and-such is pinging my scumdar") whereas in his town games he's more direct with his thoughts.

Holy crap! 4 votes (L-3) and another one saying he'd prefer to lynch me?... That's almost an L-2 way too early.
Debonair Danny DiPietro wrote: Sounds like you'll be a liability to the town even if you are town. Everyone not voting Torqez should be now for his uselessness.
Woa woa woa, I never said I'd be a liability. Nor did I say I wouldn't participate in my normal way. Sounds like providing an easy option to vote me off for nothing :?

If I was losing interest to such an extent, I'd be courteous enough to replace out - not down play myself to get myself lynched, tyvm.

FoS: Debonair Danny DiPietro
For even suggesting something like that :?
FoS: Josh Lyman
Getting away with an easy vote! I am not useless.

Very nice. On the one hand you say you could go for a no lynch. Yet on the other hand, you agree with DDD that I should be lynched for agreeing to the same thing you said you'd agree to inherently, since a townie could be lynched anyway. I like the logic.

But wait, there's more! You say Josh is being contradictory, but yet again, you say you don't like his reasoning and then don't say anything about DDDs lame reason either? How's that for contradictory?

1. Has there been discussion of a no-lynch in any other games you've played on this site?

2. What benefit to the town is there of lynching a hypothetically-townie Torqez if we just blindly lynch him? Or of lynching a hypothetically-scum Torqez, for that matter?
