Kairyuu wrote:Wrong. As Tarhalindur has said multiple times on the subject, when a mod is treated as a player in the game, aligning them to either of the main factions is, in effect, a game-breaking move. As such, the only alignment that a mod could possibly be is self-aligned third party. See Mind Screw: Gaiden for what happened when Natirasha tried to go against that and align himself with the town. Needless to say, those involved were rather irritated at him.

@Tar: Sorry for speaking for you. Feel free to correct me if your views have since changed.
Hmm... Seems good.

If your view's haven't changed, then why are you not voting UK? Or anyone for that matter?

Upon waking up from sleeping just now, I just had a random burst of inspiration, that may or may not be stupid

Uk, can you say, "the mod is not a player is this game", for me?

I see no need to repeat that for you. Figure it out for yourself

I believe that voting for "The Mafia" is a waste of time. As some of you have said before, chances are that it will just end the day with a no-lynch.

On the other hand, lynching the mod seems more and more like a good idea.
Taking a long break from mafia games.

why would lynching the mod on the off chance that this would have an effect on the game, and the further off chance that this effect is beneficial to town be a good idea?

I'm agreeing with cobalt here.

Voting the mod on D1 seems less useful than waiting until further in the game where the town has more information to analyze whether the mod is even in the game.

What if lynching the mod causes rocks to fall and everybody to die? :/

Seriously.

Man, that'd be really bastardly, wouldn't it?

Why not vote for the mod:

1) Because my role, given its wording and what little I know of the flavor, may be contingent on the Mod's role.
2) Because Cobalt is being very insistent that we shouldn't lynch UK, and it sounds like he has a rolebased reason (though I would like him to elaborate as much as he is able without revealing other information about his role - claiming inside information is generally a good thing).
3) Because I'm still mulling over the optimal play for my role.

Why not vote for anyone:

3) Because I'm still mulling over the optimal play for my role. I'll explain once I've puzzled that out.

Your activity sucks people.

PROD MOBILE TIME!

Leech Has been prodded!
Some people are only a couple hours away from prod. I hope you all decide to post soon.

If you haven't noticed, vote counts are directly related to activity. I am doing my best to post one on every page. That means you all need to make a new page before you get a new vote count. Fair? (Course, if I'm not around I'll post one as soon as I do get on)

Policy lynching in a bastard game is unacceptable.

This game was never directly stated to be bastardly

(And if it was that's really gonna make me look bad, lol)

We're in the bastard game?

And even if, what makes a policy lynch more/less acceptable if the game really is bastard? It's not like a single lynch will end the game (I think...).

@Navycherub: just because you hold the same positions he does doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't have reason to find you scummy. Why do you suspect that your level of agreement is his reason for voting you?

@CSL: Why is advocating a policy lynch reason to vote cobalt? I don't see how "cobalt is scum" follows from "cobalt advocated a policy lynch". Although I personally don't like policy lynches, a lot of players push them, and I wouldn't consider it a scumtell.
