Because it's better than sitting around and waiting for someone to do something scummy. I'm all ears if you've got an actual argument you want to push, but inaction at this juncture is unacceptable.Percy wrote:

Btw, there's no set rule that says you get abilities at L-1. The rules even say you could get your ability after dying.
Also, maybe I'd have to use it instantly.
Also, if i get a permanent ability, maybe i don't wanna be the only known powerrole going into night.
What I'm trying to say, maybe we should find scum.UpcomingMiniTheme: Rainbow Six|Siege Mafia-

I am personally of the opinion that lurking is a nulltell. I did in fact switch votes because Percy posted, yes. My vote was because they hadn't entered the game. The votes were not serious and were because my attempt to seriously start the game failed and I felt I needed to do something.Jahudo wrote:@Seraphim: did you switch votes because Percy posted? Was your Percy vote, and now Tony vote, made because they were lurking? Do you think lurking is scummy?
That being said, I don't see scum anywhere except for maybe Porkens who wants to run Tony to L-1 to try and unlock his ability.

Seraphim, did you notice Porkens had changed his vote before you posted a few minutes after him?
Porkens wasn't under pressure to switch his vote, and in fact had an opportunity to try and pressure dramonic onto the wagon, but chose to switch. So I don't see his voting as opportunistic.
@dramonic: is your vote on Nikanor serious?
@Pom: is your vote on DDD serious?-

Not really. I think my gut says that he's scum, but I'm pretty sure that it's mostly his avatar.Jahudo wrote:@Pom: is your vote on DDD serious?
I don't like dramonic saying
since it's mainly a random BW. Then, when asked about it by Tony, he replieddramonic wrote:Maybe we've no reason to believe you're town?
I mainly don't like this because generally, one views everyone as town, then suspects as scum, not everyone as scum, and those who redeem themselves as town. The way that dramonic says that 'we have no reason to believe you (Tony) is town, it feels like he's trying to subtly push the wagon. And the smiley makes me feel that he's trying to lighten the mood, so people will take his previous postMaybe we've no reason to believe you're scum either?

This isn't court, people don't start on a specific end of the spectrum and work their way accross.
I find it silly I'm gaining votes for that pair of comment. 'Twas just intended in good humour :pI'm a hoot

Yes. What Percy did is exactly what I have a tendency toward doing as scum: posting "Oh, I'll catch up!" and then not actually catching up until I get prodded again. If you want, I could give about five or six examples where I do this as scum.d3x wrote:@Nik- Is that a serious Vote?
Seraphim is scum, though. See?

Unvote. Vote: Seraphim.
DDD is pushing the Tony wagon pretty hard, but I don't see any reason for why he's doing it. Possible distancing? (And yes, I do realize that by the end of the game I'm probably going to have DDD down as distancing from every player in the game. I'm okay with that.)
Thiiiiis. So much of this. Pom's vote is fail.dramonic wrote:This isn't court, people don't start on a specific end of the spectrum and work their way accross.I am in the bottom 10% of scumhunters onsite!-

I like this post and this wagon:
Unvote, Vote: Porkens
I think DDD's "vote for TM, maybe he'll get abilities!" took all the pressure out of the wagon, and Porkens jumped on for no other reason than the one DDD proposed. I think it was a scummy move (and a poor reason to put anyone at L-1).
Going to have to disagree with you here. Everyone else has a better chance of being scum than I do, so I try to see everyone as scum unless I have been given reason not to. Guilty until proven innocent.Pomegranate 94 wrote:I mainly don't like this because generally, one views everyone as town, then suspects as scum, not everyone as scum, and those who redeem themselves as town.
(Which is to say, I kinda agree with you about dramonic, but for different reasons; however, this gets too close to playstyle criticism for it to be a good scumtell for me.)Stars Aligned III continues!-
