Open 240: Mayhem Clinic- Everyone died.

It was a cold night in Mayhem. The kind of night where the air is still and you can feel the eeriness in the air. The soundless streets are disturbed only occasionally by the wind. No one can sleep. A gunshot rings out in the dead of the night, and all the town lights up. No one dares to venture outside though. There is no courage in the face of darkness. The night takes forever to end.
The sun rises like a demon from hell as the town ventures into the daylight. Everyone gathers around the central monument. An obsidian pike that symbolized power is red with blood. The rising sun creeps up the spire until it reveals an impaled body on the top of the monument. The bloodied body of Mayor Tranquil is found. The town of Mayhem goes into a berserk fury. Everyone takes up arms. Everyone shouts accusations. The balanced town of Mayhem has descended into chaos. The void of power at the top is a vacuum sucking all those in into a blood frenzied conflict for domination.

The Law:
General Rules:
1.
Mafia is a game. The ultimate objective is to have fun.
2.
No talking outside the thread unless specifically allowed.
3.
Flavor is flavor. Do not attempt to outguess me.
4.
Dead players may not post in thread. At all.
5.
No quoting of any private mod communication.
6.
No secret communication of any kind is allowed in thread.
7.
Play to your win condition.
8.
Do not mention this game in any other games.
9.
Dark Blue is my color. Do not use this color in your posts.
10.
Bold all communication to me.
11.
Violation of rules will result in a maximum punishment of death.
Voting, Lynching, and Deadlines:
12.
Votes must be bolded. Unvoting is unnecessary.
13.
Vote counts will be posted at a maximum of once per page.
14.
Twilight occurs when a lynch is reached. Talking is allowed until Night.
15.
No lynch only requires that half the living players agree.
16.
If no majority is reached by the deadline a no lynch will occur.
17.
Day one will have a strict three week deadline. Subsequent days will have fifteen day deadlines.
18.
Night lasts for two days.
Activity
20.
You must post at least every three days to avoid a prod.
21.
Failure to post within one day of your prod will result in a replacement.
22.
Notify me of any absences ahead of time.

Fishing expedition? It's definitely worth checking out to get a feel for how all the night actions play out. That, and some of the early setup/strategy discussion is interesting, although they took it too far (took nearly 7 pages before they got on to scumhunting).
